Since its establishment more than 40 years ago, Sunway Group has become one of Malaysia’s largest conglomerates with core interests in real estate, construction, education, healthcare, retail and hospitality.

Today, property development and construction remain two of the Group’s core businesses and key contributors to profitability. Sunway Group’s flagship project in township development is Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, which involved transforming 800 acres of derelict mining land into Malaysia’s first fully integrated township spanning seven million square feet of lettable space in Klang Valley.

Following this success, the master community developer has launched Sunway City Ipoh in 1996, which spans about 1,350 acres with a GDV of about RM2 billion. To date, Sunway City Ipoh receives an annual average of 1.5 million visitors and is the proud winners of FIABCI Malaysia Property Award for the Best Master Plan township in 2010 that hosts The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat a world-class wellness spa and The Lost World of Tambun, a renowned theme park, wildlife park and petting zoo.

work to complete its third Sunway City township, this time in the southern state of Johor – Sunway City Iskandar Puteri.

(GDV) of more than RM30 billion, it has six precincts: The Lakeview Precinct, The Parkview Precinct, The Marketplace Precinct, The Seafront Precinct, The Capital Precinct and the Riverside Precinct. Each precinct is designed to be a self-sustaining integrated city offering a wide range of amenities and facilities as such retail malls, medical city, a theme park and etc.

➢ Precinct: The Lakeview

This precinct is the epitome of ‘nature-inspired city living’.

Sprawling over 5.22 acres, it features the Citrine Collections comprising Citrine Residences and Citrine Hub with the 20acre Emerald Lake Garden as its main attraction. Citrine Residences offers a total of 328 serviced residential units in six layout plans including dual key, with built-ups ranging from 626 sq ft to 1,528 sq ft and have one to three bedrooms. Each side of the residential tower offers spectacular view of the township, facing either the Emerald

development situated on a hilltop with exclusive lakeview that comprises 222 units of link houses, courtyard homes, garden villas, link semi-d and semi-detached homes that come with a private clubhouse.

The Lakeview precinct is also home for the Sunway International School, a modern and contemporary school designed to deliver international school curriculum from Pre-School to Secondary levels that is both Hi-Tech, with effective adoption of educational technologies, as well as Hi-Touch with strong emphasis on its students’ development of soft skills.

Among the offerings at the precinct is XPARK Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, one of the largest extreme and adventure park in the country, which covers 13 hectares for extreme sports activities such as ATV, watersports, gokart, mountain biking, rock climbing, motorcross, archery, paintball, glamping villa and etc; Sunway Big Box, which is Malaysia’s first hybrid retail park that combines large and small retail formats on a 10 hectare land parcel with an open-air strip mall environment; and, Sunway Emerald Boulevard 88, the first and only commercial shop office development in the township offering a flexible layout design for various business opportunities from education, F&B, sports facilities to groceries and etc.

The precinct is also be home to Sunway GRID, which has been recognised by Malaysia Book of Records as the country’s first property development that is fully customisable based on individual preference. Situated next to the Sunway Big Box Retail Park, the leasehold development offers 501 residential units that come in a choice between Loft and Non-Loft and can be customised from Studio up to 2 Rooms, with built-ups from 541sq ft to 735sq ft.
