Aziel Nunez

Aziel Nunez's embarked on a life journey ingrained with a profound sense of empathy, leadership, and patience from a young age. As the son of Evangelical missionaries, he was exposed to a rich tapestry of cultures and spiritual teachings, growing up in diverse areas like Mexico City, San Diego, Redlands, Madrid, and Chicago. His unique upbringing instilled an appreciation for various cultures and a deep understanding of spirituality, shaping his future endeavors. His educational path began at Colgate University, where he pursued a BA degree focusing on Political Science and Religion. This choice reflected his connection to his spiritual background and a desire to understand the interplay between faith and societal structures. His academic journey didn't end there; he furthered his education at Yale University, earning an MDiv. This pursuit of knowledge continued at Boston University, where he obtained a DMin in Transformational Leadership, equipping him with the skills to lead and inspire change. After completing his academic pursuits, he dedicated himself to pastoral work, serving as a Pastor for several Hispanic non-denominational congregations. His impact in these communities across Massachusetts, New York, and South Carolina was profound, as he offered guidance, support, and wisdom. Complementing his pastoral work, he was an Adjunct Instructor at Tri-County Technical College. Here, he focused on empowering people in under-resourced communities, demonstrating his belief in the transformative power of education. Throughout his career, he specialized in areas that reflect his values and expertise. He was unequivocal in his commitment to empowering people through education and uplifting marginalized communities. His focus also extended to student development, first-century Judaism, and the Sociology of Religion. His 11-year tenure as a parish pastor allowed him to profoundly influence these fields, making him a transformational figure in both the academic and pastoral worlds.
