This is a report of my master project that was undertaken to define and translate the principles of Sustainable Urban Design into a study case in London, particularly in Burnt Oak as a suburban area in the North West of Greater London. The district centre is the object of this project, since it is the hub and centre of local community activities in the ward. The impact of redesigning the district centre is expected to influence other places in Burnt Oak Ward.
