DESCRIPTION: An irrigation pipeline, consisting of pipes (of various materials), pumps, valves, and other appurtenance, allows the transfer of irrigation water underground rather than through open canals or ditches.

LOAD REDUCTION MECHANISM: Nutrients/Organics Management - An underground pipeline confines irrigation water, controlling the spread of nutrients and organic pollutants.

Salinity Reduction - - An underground pipeline confines irrigation water, controlling the spread of salts.
