Don’t wait to start job searching
While it might be tempting to take some time off to relax after a busy school year, do your best to start actively searching now!
Quality, not Quantity
Blasting your resume out to every open position you see won’t give you the best results. Carefully targeting jobs you are truly interested in and qualified for you get you better results. At the same time, consider more than just one role in one industry. Open yourself up to a broader range of possibilities, and you might discover something you love!

Don’t count out internships
If you’re having trouble finding a full time job, don’t count out the possibility of an internship! Many internships are open to non-students, and they can offer valuable experience while you continue to search for something full-time. Volunteering can play a similar useful role as well.
Want to talk jobs, interviews, cover letters, resumes or Linkedin?
Use your network
Don’t feel bad about reaching out to your past internships, friend’s parents, and other people you know. It’s normal to do this as part of a job search, and most of the time, they are happy to help.
Keep your image professional
Make sure you email address, voicemail, and online presence are mature and professional. Employers will form opinions about you based on these things, and the more polished you appear, the better your chances.
Don’t panic
Your job search might take time, possibly a lot of time. That doesn’t mean you’ll never find a job- trust that God has a unique plan especially for you— and seek that out.
