MODERN ART OXFORD ABOUT US Modern Art Oxford is a leading venue for the presentation of international contemporary art in the UK. Founded in 1965 by a group of artists including Henry Moore and David Hockney, the Gallery is a unique, fresh and flexible environment for any event. Situated in the heart of the City Centre, Modern Art Oxford provides a contemporary alternative to Oxford’s many historical spaces. Housed in the former City Brewery, the Gallery comprises of six separate architecturally striking exhibition spaces that are available to hire. EGROVE PARK ABOUT US Egrove Park is the Executive Education Centre of the Saϊd Business School, University of Oxford. The purpose-built Grade II listed building is set in 37 acres of wooded parkland just off Oxford’s southern bypass and only 2 miles from the city centre. RHODES HOUSE ABOUT US Rhodes House is a magnificent, exclusive, year-round venue located in the heart of Oxford. A building steeped in history, it is the headquarters for one of the world’s most prestigious international scholarship programmes and has, since 1903 supported the education of world leaders, Nobel Scientists and others at the forefront of many professions, all of whom enjoyed using the wonderful facilities. EXETER COLLEGE ABOUT US Exeter is the fourth oldest of the University Colleges. From the Fellows’ Garden with its famous view over Radcliffe Square to its soaring Chapel and wood-panelled Dining Hall, it’s stunning beauty makes it one of the treasures of Oxford. Through the centuries, it has been home to renowned figures in literature, science and the arts, including JRR Tolkien, Sir Roger Bannister and Philip Pullman. Located in the very heart of the city, it is just minutes away from shops, museums and transport links. Exeter served as a film location for parts of the 2007 film The Golden Compass, based on Pullman’s novel Northern Lights and the well known, fictitious Inspector Morse died in the front quad of the College.

FACILITIES Exeter’s peaceful quadrangles and beautiful garden provide an idyllic setting for meetings and conferences and the College has a long and proud tradition of providing for the needs of such events. We are noted for the care we take and many of our clients return to us year after year. We have an air conditioned lecture theatre seating 120 delegates within the grounds of the college and can offer a number of syndicate rooms. TRINITY COLLEGE ABOUT US In the heart of the city centre, Trinity enjoys an unusually peaceful and spacious location with large lawns and award-winning gardens. Founded in 1555, the buildings on the east side of Durham Quad are from the earlier Durham College and date from 1421. The Garden Quad (designed by Christopher Wren) was commenced in 1665 and the Jackson buildings of the front quad 1885. In walking distance from both the rail and bus station, Trinity can accommodate up to 150.

FACILITIES Candlelit dinners for 150 in the 17th century Hall, where the Queen dined and the Prince of Wales had tea, or 24 in the private dining room where the Emperor and Empress of Japan enjoyed lunch. Both are furnished with chairs – not benches! Wedding receptions and banquets with drinks in the gardens, dinner in Hall and dancing in the Beer Cellar. Croquet and Pimms on the lawns or Champagne and canapÊs in the vaulted Cellar. 150 study bedrooms on site - of which 145 are en-suite and 22 enjoy the added comfort of double beds. LADY MARGARET HALL ABOUT US Lady Margaret Hall was founded in 1878, the first of the Colleges for women at Oxford. It is proud both of its long tradition of academic excellence in women’s education and of its success since 1978 as a college open equally to women and men. The College buildings date from a variety of periods between the midVictorian and early-1970s, and include work by major architects, Sir Reginald Bloomfield and Sir Giles Gilbert-Scott. They stand in extensive and exceptionally beautiful gardens on the banks of the River Cherwell.

THE EXAMINATION SCHOOLS ABOUT US The University of Oxford Examination Schools is a beautiful Victorian Grade II listed building located on the High Street in the heart of Oxford. It is Oxford’s largest city centre conference venue. We offer nearly 13,000 square feet of versatile space for exhibitions, displays and trade shows, whilst adapting equally well to conferences, business meetings, receptions and dinners. 17 multi-functional rooms offer excellent meeting room and break-out space. LONDON OXFORD AIRPORT ABOUT US Seven miles to the north of the City of Oxford with easy access to the M40 motorway, Oxford Airport provides a unique and unusual venue for hosting events, meetings and conferences. Utilising the new oxfordjet executive terminal built in 2008, often with a backdrop of several private jets and occasionally larger airliners, the airport offers a discreet, upmarket environment in which to host an event. If contemplating any hospitality or launch event, flights can be arranged in both light fixed wing aircraft, helicopters and even flight simulators, just steps away from the facility. The oxfordjet facility is used to hosting heads of state, royalty and celebrities who fly through the airport.

FACILITIES The terminal facility provides two meeting rooms for up to 20 delegates the Catalina and Brabazon rooms, the Vitesse Lounge which can take up to 55 delegates in a variety of seating configurations and the Aurora Lounge which is a discreet VVIP lounge for up to 10 visitors. Opposite the terminal facility is the Oxford Aviation Academy who offer a 155-seat lecture theatre. All facilities have modern AV equipment. NEW THEATRE OXFORD ABOUT US The New Theatre is a receiving house, presenting the best in touring musicals, opera, ballet, concerts, comedy and family shows. We are part of the Ambassador Theatre Group who own and manage 39 venues across the UK and in the West End. In the last 12 months the theatre has played host to a wide variety of shows and acts including the Barbican production of South Pacific, English National Ballet’s Strictly Gershwin, the Monty Python musical Spamalot along with comedy and concerts by Dara O Briain, Alan Carr, McFly, Jools Holland, Sarah Millican, Nigel Kennedy and Will Young. Coming up in 2012/13 we will welcome back Welsh National Opera, Starlight Express, Stomp and Chicago as well as Rufus Wainwright, Jimmy Carr, Joan Armatrading and Al Murray. We also work locally with Helen and Douglas House, who produce Childish Things at the theatre every year which features big name comedy and music acts raising money for the charity.
