BODLEIAN LIBRARIES ABOUT US One of the great libraries of the world, the Bodleian is a working library at the heart of the University of Oxford. Dating back to 1488, the Bodleian is the second largest library in the UK and holds over 12 million printed items and priceless manuscripts.
