Direct-Spark Ignition With each call for heat, two electrodes ignite the fuel/air mixture. A third electrode then senses for flame. The Smart System™ will generate a soft lockout and display a fault if ignition does not occur.

Dynamic Inlet Baffle Pull-push action opens and closes the baffle providing access for inspection and cleaning. The handle can also be extended for deeper below grade installations ensuring that accessibility is maintained.

Riser Extensions There are often applications where deeper burial of the interceptor is needed. The XL ‘Cut to length’ riser extension is supplied with an additional frame and interfaces directly with the tank.

Integrated Flow Control Mounted on the front section of the baffle, the internal flow control plate moves away from the inlet pipe giving opportunity for visual inspection and cleaning as required.

Factory Plumbed 3-Way Outlets The Endura XL models feature three pre-plumbed outlet options for straight through or side outlet drainage connections.

Solids Retention Area Passing over the ramp, any solids or debris separate by gravity into the defined solids retention area. This significantly reduces the likelihood of grease-laden particles from exiting the interceptor.

How Are Boshart’s No-Lead Products Identified?

Low-Lead For products that do have, or could potentially have small amounts of lead in the alloy or the coating. For example zinc/galvanized plated products, all no lead brass and bronze products.

Boshart is committed to expanding their lead-free product line and have created two types of no-lead logos for easy identification of these products.

No-Lead Logos – Product Certified to <0.25% LEAD

Lead-Free For products that DO NOT have any lead content at all. For example all no lead stainless steel, plastic, cast iron items.

Labels for product that are 3rd party certified to the <0.25% Pb by weighted average by an ANSI accredited laboratory will have additional information located on the labels, which identifies the certification body used. Most no-lead labels can also be identified by the GREEN or BLACK bar running through the part number / qty.

Remember: There is no industry standard for product identification, and is unlikely in the future. A wide range of no-lead product markings are being used today so it’s important to check these labels.
