AHIMSA SILK/ PEACE SILK - Cruelty-free natural silk woven by hand Peace silk is from cocoons from which the moth has completed its transformation and emerges naturally. It is much more humane to the creatures creating the silk than many traditional methodologies. Peace silk is woven by hand by fair trade producers in India. This cruelty-free silk is sourced from the cocoons of the wild Eri moth. The process does not involve touching or harming the moths, nor does it require keeping them in captivity.

- A low impact alternative to acrylic and wool Patent pending staple fiber composed of proprietary blend of modified polyester pellets and rPET flakes. Polylana can be dyed at a low temperature hence its softer hand and loft.
1 SWEATER SAVES 7 GALLONS OF WATER. Quantifiability lower energy use, waste, CO2 and fiber release. REACH Compliant, Formaldehyde free, AZO free, OEKO TEX standard 100.
- Polyamide enhanced with biodegradability Amni Soul Eco is the only polyamide with the enhanced biodegradability, this allows all clothes made with this technology to quickly decompose after being properly disposed of in landfills. The decomposition only starts when the garments is discarded and comes in contact with microorganisms existing in this anaerobic environment. Amni Soul Eco Technology reuse water during its manufacturing process and treat greenhouse gases prior to emission.

- Recycled post-industrial and post-consumer waste Unifi, is the leading producer in synthetic fibers providing sustainable textile solutions. Repreve is fiber made from recycled material, making it certifiably sustainable. It conserves resources because it offsets the need to use newly refined crude oil. On average, five pounds of Repreve yarn conserves the equivalent of a gallon of gasoline. It’s made from a blend of post-industrial and post-consumer waste. They also accept post-consumer fabrics from their Textile Takeback Program, to create a new Repreve Takeback Fiber that includes recycled fabric content, which is traceable, transparent, and certifiably sustainable.
Compared to Virgin Polyester, producing one pound of Repreve saves: the amount of enough energy enough water to greenhouse gas to run a compact provide more than (GHG) emitted while flurescent light the daily drinking bulb for nearly 22 water for one person driving a hybrid car almost 3 miles days

MILL RESOURCES
-Environment friendly fibresCertified organic fibers which are grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides from plants and animals. They offer a naturally based product as well as transparency and independent certifications. Environmental friendly treatments are used during the manufacturing process; Naturetexx, which is a dry process using electricity and air to deliver machine washable wool and X-care which is the process of treating wool fibers with eco-friendly substances to deliver machine washable merino wool without the use of chlorine.
-A unique, sustainable natural fibre processing for cotton and alpaca The organic Cotton project is a cooperation with more than 90 Peruvian farmers who engage to non conventional cotton farming in order to grow their cotton on certified land in Chincha and Lambayeque valleys of north Peru. The organic cotton is free of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and defoliants. It is also free of GMO seeds. The cotton is handpicked which reduces the environmental impact and improved the quality of the product. Through the Pacomarca project of alpaca breeding, they are contributing to improve the fineness of the alpaca fiber in Peru. The benefits are spread to the rural communities because the finer alpaca fiber will earn the Andean herdsmen a higher income from the fleece. For another of our projects Intifil donated alpaca yarn to the remote village of Llali, where they taught 117 mothers knitting techniques. 750 school children received a new warm sweater, but the mothers earned a salary and learned a trade that provides them with an additional source of income.

-Upcycling textile excess to create premium natural yarns and fabrics A textile line with Iris Textiles, a third-generation mill operated in Guatemala since 1956. Manufacture of sustainable cotton, collecting pre-consumer denim off-cuts. No Synthetic fibers are used the technical upcycling process, making the yarns 100% natural and compostable. The new denim project is part of a circular economy, where the waste during the upcycling process is passed to coffee farmers to use as compost.
Minimal water & energy usage Chemical-free & dye free process Compostable & biodegradable No synthetic fibers added Positive carbon footprint

ECO MELANGE - Unique yarn utilizing waterless coloring method Finding the balance between nature and fashion by using a unique waterless coloring method. The result creates a beautiful heather effect all in a range of 100% bleachable, BPO safe, soft healing hues. This is a method that clearly proves gentleness is stronger than severity. Natural heatered effect - Lower Co2 - Water conservation No effluent - BOP fastness

PROCESS INNOVATION
-Eco friendly alternative to dye bathingDirect ‘diffusion’ application of color eliminating the need for a dye bath in coloring of cellulosic fibers . Uses 98% less water than fiber reactive or indigo dyeing. WASHED down effect is created at yarn stage eliminating need for additional washing. ZERO wastewater discharge Subtle colors Shade consistency throughout product life Superior colorfastness to indigo

PROCESS INNOVATION
ZERO DISCHARGE WASHING MACHINE -Washing technique with minimal water consumptionZero discharge during usage of the machine Effortless operation, most chemical can be applied by nozzles, like softener and silicone oil. Machine can be programmed to achieve different effect and handfeel according to varied materials. High productivity, one worker can monitor 6 machines at the same time and the entire process only costs 30-40 minutes. Water saving, comparing with traditional finishing process, 97.3% water can be saved for 100kg garment, nearly 1.6 tons. Space saving, as washing, spin dry and tumble dry machines need to set for traditional process, which all can be achieved by only zero discharge washing machine, occupying one third space compared with traditional set up.
