Grammar, Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing, Vocabulary, and Pronunciation, thus building your confidence. Friendly, well-trained teachers emphasize the communicative approach in the classroom, and classes are small – typically 8 to 13 students. This creates a relaxed classroom environment in which your teacher will give you feedback on your progress.

Combines all the above with the choice of a specific Elective Class. Explore topics such as, Business English, American Culture, Slang/Idioms and Pronunciation to give a different aspect to ESL learning, and be on the fast track to rapid learning and accelerated advancement through our English levels!

Our Intensive English program offers three options with 20, 25, or 30 lessons per week of 45 minutes each.

Intensive20 Our basic program gives the student both structure and communication. Structure class covers the accurate use of English, bringing students to the point where they have mastered the use of key grammar points, and can use them correctly to communicate. Communication class involves the fluent use of English. Students engage in a level-appropriate series of activities around a weekly theme. This may include use of articles, songs, videos, discussions, presentations, debates and other ways of building vocabulary and fluency skills. The class is friendly and supportive, encouraging students to take the risks necessary to increase their fluency.

Intensive25 Adds a daily Writing Workshop, for a more in-depth look at how to present ideas in writing.

“BAE is focused on you!” “They are always focused on the students. The lessons are fun and dynamic and every day is different for me.” - Maria, Chile

Students with an F-1 student visa must take the Intensive25 or 30 program. Those not requiring the student visa, or perhaps living in or visiting the Boston area, may find the Intensive20 program appropriate. beginner 1
