Horizon of the Unseen is an uplifting compilation of writings taken from a wide spectrum of religious and cultural traditions presented alongside illustrations by Corinne Randall. The twelve chapters incorporate a diversity of styles ranging from representational depictions of the landscape to decorative and minimal designs. The paintings are visual metaphors reflecting the mood of the quotations, either through the signs and symbols of nature or as abstract interpretations of inner spiritual emotions and concepts. This third edition contains some new quotations, updated translations and fresh illustrations.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá

The pathway of life is the road which leads to divine knowledge and attainment.

It is your patience that will draw him back.

It began in mystery, and it will end in mystery, but what a savage and beautiful country lies in between.

If he blocks all your roads, be sure.

Never lose hope if the beloved pushes you away.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá

He will show you a secret way unknown to others.

The way is unimpeded harmony; Its potential may never be fully exploited. It is as deep as the source of all things: It blunts the edges, resolves the complications, harmonizes the light.

When the heart is pure the spirit enters, and our growth is natural and assured.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá

An awake heart is like a sky that pours light.
