RE: BAAA Age Group Trials and Kids Athletics Championships

FACILITIES: Competition Track – Old Thomas A. Robinson Stadium Beynon Track
Warm Up Track – Flag Football Field and 100m Beynon Track
Divisions: The following age divisions can register:
Under 7 – (2017-2018)
Under 9 – (2015-2016)
Under 11 – (2013-2014)
Under 13 – (2011-2012)
Under 15 – (2009-2010)
Eligibility: Clubs, Schools or Unattached

Two-One or One-Two Format
Eligible athletes can only compete in two track events and one field event or one track event and two field events. All track events are time finals.
All other rules and regulations will follow the guidelines from WAF who is locally represented by BAAAs and BACO
Purpose:
- Kids Athletics Championships
- Qualifier for the Age Group team in July 2023
Entry Deadline: The deadline for all entries is Friday May 26, 2023 @ 5pm. All entries should be emailed to betheltineke@gmail.com and registration@bahamastrackandfield.org

Credentials: All athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers will require a band
Timing and Results: Finish lynx Timing system will be used. Live results will be posted on www.tekresults.net

Heats/Flights: Athletes will be seeded into Heats and Flights. Each athlete will receive (3) attempts in the field events until down to final eight (8). Thereafter the top eight (8) shall receive additional three (3) attempts
Technical: Tentative Scratches on May 29, 2023

Awards: Medals for the top three finishers Trophies for Team Division winners
