COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS!
The Jawad Business Group organised a community outreach programme in association with Tree of Life Charity Society and Bahrain Down Syndrome Care Centre on June 11 at The Jawad Dome located in Budaiya.
The Jawad Community Outreach Programme aims to raise awareness of these societies and the group’s continual interaction within the community to encourage others to join the workforce. The programme aims to give all participants a fun and memorable experience while boosting the confidence of specially-abled individuals and promoting their productivity.
Jawad Business Group has expressed their joy at being able to work with specially-abled individuals. Of these unique individuals, Hasan Mahdi Hasan Almusajen works with Papa Johns Pizza and Raed Aayed Obaid Alanzi with Dairy Queen. “These dear employees of ours have been working with us for over nine months and continuously bring smiles to everyone’s faces,” says Chairman and CEO of Jawad Business Group, Faisal Jawad.
Around 20 participants from Tree of Life Charity Society and Bahrain Down Syndrome Care Centre enjoyed their time as they prepared their own pizzas to participate in an activity organised as part of the community outreach programme. US Embassy Chargé d’ Affaires, David Brownstein, attended the event, was greeted by Mr. Jawad, and interacted with the participants as they tried their hand at making their own pizza which ultimately turned out looking great and tasting delicious! Mr. Brownstein thanked all the participants and offered them certificates of appreciation.
Jawad Business Group would like to thank and appreciate the presence of US Embassy Chargé d’ affaires, David Brownstein along with Jawad Business Group Chairman and CEO, Faisal Jawad, Deputy CEO, Kareem Jawad, the restaurant management teams from Papa Johns Pizza and Dairy Queen, participants from Tree of Life Charity Society and Bahrain Down Syndrome Care Centre, and all employees.
