The Waikato region of New Zealand’s North Island is home to the nation’s largest lake, Lake Taupō which flows into the nation’s longest river, the Waikato River. The thriving waterway flows past Huka Lodge, then plunges into the Huka Falls on its way to the ocean. The Waikato region is also home to the country’s most important geothermal systems, ideal for spas and wellness.
A signature menu of rejuvenating and relaxing treatments at the Huka Spa embraces New Zealand’s natural beauty products to offer a holistic, local skincare experience. Manuka honey is renowned for its soothing antibacterial properties, while the grounding and energising effects of greenstones and thermal mud restore balance and promote relaxation. Aotearoa Spa Journeys
The Huka Spa exclusively features verité spa skincare products. Handcrafted in small batches in Aotearoa (the Māori name for New Zealand), the range is blended from the finest organic therapeutic plant extracts and essences including rose, blue tansy, papaya and kiwifruit seed.
