Two night itinerary
Situated among Tropical North Queensland’s world-renowned natural attractions including the Daintree Rainforest, Great Barrier Reef and Cape Tribulation, Silky Oaks is a luxurious base from which guests can plan their adventures. Two Night Baillie Escape
The following represents an indicative experience over two nights. Many factors influence the itinerary, including flight arrival and departure times, pre-booked activities, availability of external tour operators, weather conditions and seasonality.
Day 1 Welcome
Embrace the spectacular setting on the winding coastal journey from Cairns along the Great Barrier Reef Drive. Self-drive or opt for a private transfer service, knowing that a signature welcome drink is waiting upon arrival at Silky Oaks Lodge.
Day 1 Afternoon
Immerse in the sights and sounds of the rainforest with a hike along the Fig Tree Rapids trail. Plunge into the freshwater billabong for a feeling of refreshment only Mother Nature can offer.

A stay at the lodge includes tropical breakfast, dinner with inspired daily menu matched with selected premium wines, signature evening drinks hour including snacks, selected in-suite bar, morning yoga class, exclusive access to the Fig Tree Rapids walking trails and one return scheduled shuttle to Port Douglas per day. Check in / Airport transfers
Check-in time is 2pm. Where possible, flexibility with early check-in will be provided. Private vehicle and helicopter transfers from Cairns Airport to Silky Oaks Lodge may be arranged for an additional cost. Bookings in advance are essential.
Day 1 Night
As the sun slips down, enjoy evening drinks and snacks on the Jungle Perch before dining in the relaxed ambience of the Treehouse Restaurant and savour a four-course table d’hôte menu, matched with premium wines.
Day 2 Morning
Join an Indigenous guided walk at Mossman Gorge to learn about the Kuku Yalanji people's deep spiritual connection with the land. A mustdo when in the Daintree.
Day 2 Afternoon
Journey to the Low Isles onboard a luxury catamaran to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. At sunset, soak up the pure thrill of sailing the Coral Sea, glass in-hand.
Day 2 Night
Dine at leisure in the Treehouse Restaurant and enjoy a shared 'family-style' selection of dishes, celebrating the bounty of local seasonal produce.
Day 3 Morning
Join an early morning yoga class, take a rainforest walk, or plunge into the invigorating Mossman River. Breathe deep the clean, green oxygen and marvel at the oldest living rainforest on the planet.
Dining
Evening drinks and snacks are served from 6-7pm. Dinner is served from 6–9pm in the Treehouse Restaurant.

Day 3 Farewell
Time for a final breakfast and to take last pictures before returning along the coastal bends to Cairns. For a final rush, depart in style with a helicopter transfer from the Silky Oaks Lodge helipad back to reality.
