VIRTUAL RIBBON CUTTING
C
ongratulations to Stria on the grand opening of their new headquarters located at 2160 Mars Ct. in Northwest Bakersfield. This business process outsourcing company uses a continuous improvement model to deliver automation and outsourcing that saves their clients time and money. Although this ceremony was originally scheduled in April, we are happy that Stria Founder/CEO Jim Damian and VP of Sales & Marketing Scott Garrison agreed to have the Chamber perform our first virtual ribbon cutting with Mayor Karen Goh that you can view HERE.
At this time, the Chamber is not performing in-person ceremonies, instead we have pivoted to virtual ceremonies to keep everyone safe. If your company is interested in a virtual ribbon cutting, the ceremony must take place within 6 months of the opening, move, major renovation or expansion of your business. A ribbon cutting ceremony can also recognize a significant milestone anniversary (i.e. 5-year increments) or new ownership. To inquire about scheduling a virtual ribbon cutting, please email Hillary Haenes at hhaenes@bakochamber.com.
