This also includes a lack of expressing "knowledge-appropriate" communication, which occurs when a person uses ambiguous or complex legal words, medical jargon, or descriptions of a situation or environment that is not understood by the recipient.

Environmental noise Physical barriers occurs due to the nature of the environment. Loud places, obstacles on the communication channel, or different location of the the communicators. Bad or outdated equipment, failure of management to introduce new technology, may also cause problems. If we do not see people that we communicate with, we cannot see their true reactions to our words. For good communication, we should feel ourselves comfortably, see each other and our body language.

Semantic noise

By using ambiguity of words/phrases can be interpreted differently, so others can even have contradictory understanding of the message. For a good communication, we should double check if sender and receiver understand message in the same time. And use define words, which do work in proper context.

Cultural noise Stereotypical assumptions can cause misunderstandings. People who blindly hold on to some symbols or believes can be successfully mislead by others, but also easily offended — that can be a problem within communication. We should not be extra careful with what we say, but be in a open position- aware that others can have cultural rules contradictory to ours.

Psychological noise Certain attitudes can also make communication difficult. For instance, big emotions like great anger or sadness may cause someone to lose focus on the present moment. Attitudinal barriers are related to psychological conditions of sender and receiver of the message. They both should be focus and be open for communication. Everyday stress and tiredness can affect our understanding.
