OUR COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY Balch & Bingham nurtures a deep, ongoing commitment to serving the communities across our footprint, both individually and collectively. I am proud of our attorneys and staff who make a profound impact in these communities. Good corporate citizenship is part of our heritage and is extremely important to us. This year, we supported hundreds of charitable organizations both through financial contributions and contributions of time and service by our attorneys and staff. We were afforded many opportunities to volunteer or donate to charitable organizations throughout 2016, each one making a meaningful impact on its community. We feel very fortunate to support these groups, and chose to highlight a number of these organizations in our inaugural Community Giving Report. Looking forward into 2017, we will continue to grow our dedication to giving back to the communities in which we serve. I personally feel honored to work alongside a team which includes such generous people who serve our communities well. Lastly, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the many organizations and nonprofits with which we partnered last year. Thank you for the very important work that you do to better our communities. Sincerely,

M. Stanford Blanton Managing Partner
