The Koolie Minnow series consists of four lure sizes, each with a different lip for a speciďŹ c use, to cover a complete range of depths from six inches to 20 feet. Each model introduces a radically unique swimming action, and all work equally well either being cast or trolled. Patrick Sebile distinguishes each model by its lip size: Small Lip, Medium Lip, Big Round Lip and Long Lip.
Small Lip SL: The Koolie Minnow SL is intended for fi shing in shallow water or near the surface and performs well under fast retrieves. The jerk bait is ideal for working over grass and in tree tops where little operating water is available. Its neutral buoyancy allows the bait to suspend in the strike zone while at rest to further tempt wary fi sh.
Medium Lip ML: The Koolie Minnow ML benefi ts from a greater wobble than the SL and offers a more aggressive swimming action. Designed to run at 4 – 5 feet, this lure is an excellent choice for a variety of situations, especially fi shing in current.
