In 2008, Dagmar Reinhard established BALLENA TALES MAGAZINE after falling in love with the Costa Ballena area in the South Pacific of Costa Rica, just like many of us down here. Our editorial priority is to satisfy our readers by publishing attractive content while highlighting the value of our advertisers' brands. We also collaborate freely with positive local initiatives and environmental organizations. Our magazine goes beyond traditional print publications. Each edition, whether in print or digital, is part of a robust digital ecosystem. The editions are accessible online, the advertorials are featured on our blog, and the brands are listed on our website commercial directory. Advertisers' ads also include links to their company websites and social media profiles. We have a dedicated audience of over 8,000 readers in the Costa Ballena region of the South Pacific who will see your product featured in each printed edition. According to a study conducted in hotels, restaurants, pharmacies, offices, rental houses, supermarkets, and other locations in previous years, the average readership was 2.3 local readers and 18 visitors per copy, totaling approximately 142,000 readings. This result corresponds to the printing of seven thousand copies per year. The magazine, available in digital and printed formats, highlights the local community and provides information on restaurants, hotels, services, experiences, natural attractions, and wildlife. It also includes interviews with pioneers, writers, and artists from the southern Pacific region of Costa Rica. It is a free magazine in Costa Rica for travelers, residents, and investors. The digital magazine is bilingual, featuring both Spanish and English, and is in full color. Additionally, a printed semiannual English version is published.
