What would you say if we offered you an exclusive journey in the spirit of Jules Verne? So yes, today, right here, right now, in the 21st century, the journey around Lithuania in 80 days or less could become the greatest adventure of your life. Why? The answer is simple! The area of Lithuania is perfectly suitable for such an adventure, since it is only about 375 km from east to west and 275 km from north to south. By the way, from a bird’s eye view Lithuania resembles a big green heart at the geographic centre of Europe . As if Lithuania’s natural landscape is specially arranged for such a journey – one third of the entire territory is covered by forests. In addition, 760 meandering rivers and 3,000 rippling lakes are incredibly beautiful water routes for kayaking and canoeing.
Moreover, the most amazing Lithuanian landscapes are criss-crossed with cycle paths. For example, the 200-km-long Seaside cycle path runs along three bodies of water (the Baltic Sea, the Curonian Lagoon and the Nemunas River), coastal pine forests, dunes and outcrops. Other routes lead through UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the legendary mounds of Kernavė and the mystical Hill of Crosses. Bicycles can also be taken for trips around other unique places, still untouched by human hands: 5 national and 30 regional parks, 26 nature reserves and protected areas rich with hiking trails, scenic overlooks, bird and animal observation points and educational trails. We suggest you visit stables, golf courses, campsites, aqua parks and Snow Arena, the one and only winter entertainment complex in the Baltic States open year-round. If you want to relax between activities, be sure to try the traditional Lithuanian bathing birch-rod or the pleasing amber massage. And do not miss the chance to try your luck at amber-hunting. Maybe your amber talisman awaits you somewhere beneath the surf on the shore of the Baltic Sea… And if the 80-day journey seems too long, then choose to travel in the same way as the characters of the book written by Jules Verne – by hot air balloon. The Old Town of Vilnius is one of the few capitals in Europe over which hot air balloons fly!
Looking forward to seeing you in Lithuania!

GALVĖ LAKE
Trakai Historical National Park protects valuable historical heritage. It is a land of lakes with a highly developed system of water tourism. Galvė Lake is one of the oldest, clearest and deepest lakes in Lithuania. It fascinates with its mysterious coves, peninsulas and islands. Trakai Island Castle (1) is the most picturesque of the lake’s decorations. This castle is the only castle built on an island in Lithuania and, indeed, in all of Eastern Europe. Boat races and regattas take place at Galvė Lake. Here you can go out on the water with a yacht, pedal boat (water bicycle), rowboat, or canoe. For much of the year you can see the silhouettes of sails in the distance and hear the slapping of oars on the water. The motorboat “Skaistis” and sailboat “Baltis” take visitors around the lake. Water tourism
Trakai is surrounded by water on three sides. It is a multinational, multicultural city, which is famous for its ancient architecture and Crimean Karaites community, living here since the 15th century. On the opposite shore of the lake stands the enchanting Užutrakis Manor (2) with its elegant park. The lake is ideal for diving. A most attractive sight here is the sculpture exhibition located near the business and leisure centre “Kempingas slėnyje” (3) (campsite in the valley), at the bottom of the lake (at a depth of 9 m).

Prior to construction of the King Wilhelm Canal, which connected the Nemunas River and Klaipėda, many ships were wrecked near Ventė Cape. For this reason, in the 19th century, a lighthouse (2) was built. Go to the top of the lighthouse and enjoy the stunning view of the Curonian Lagoon. In cloudless weather conditions you will see Nida 1213 km to the southwest, and the dunes and Preila 8.5 km to the west. You will reach the fishing village called Kintai, which has a stone church built in the 18th century and is proud of its original weathercocks. From the bay you will see Ventė Cape, on which a lighthouse stands. The Nemunas River will take you to the kingdom of birds – the Nemunas Delta. Here you should definitely visit Minija (Mingė), the village of fishermen. You will also easily find the small city of Rusnė.

Lithuania’s largest ONE Adventure Park is located in a pine forest in Druskininkai, on the banks of Lithuania’s largest river, the Nemunas. Druskininkai is a health resort famous for its therapeutic mud, mineral water and climate therapy. Not only is the picturesque city associated with fresh air, but it also provides perfect conditions for active leisure.
The park covers an area of three hectares. It has ten different routes up in the trees, the total length of which is three kilometres. The complexity of these routes varies. The longest route is 600 metres long. The greatest height you can reach is 16 metres. Visitors can try over 130 different routes. Thirty of these tree-to-tree flights are full of adrenaline (four of them are above the Nemunas river). One of the most exciting is the Tarzan flight over the Nemunas. The park has a unique two-floor racetrack. If you come to this park together with a friend, it is a perfect opportunity to find out which one of you is braver, stronger and faster! Belmontas Adventure Park is a place where never-before-seen ideas are realised. Sometimes one might think, “This is impossible!” However, if you gather all your strength and courage, you will see what you are really capable of! The total length of all six routes is more than 1.5 km. The park has 82 different routes, 15 of which are flights with ropes. Unlike in other parks, the routes in Belmontas are arranged in a different way,
since they are concentrated in an area of less than one hectare. Here, for the first time in Lithuania, a three-dimensional (3D) route configuration was used. There are platforms of different complexity and routes built on the same tree. As many as three routes cross the same tree. If you are taking a route, you will be able to see your family members and friends taking other routes over or beneath you. Some of the tracks can only be found here, at this park. The experience is intensified by the sense of déjà vu, that you know you have already been in a particular tree, but at a different height. The Black route of Belmontas Adventure Park is the longest and the most complex such route in Lithuania. It is 259 metres Adventure parks

that plays an important role in your life? To fly over the place where you’re staying? Or maybe to arrange a photo shoot in the sky? All these dreams can become reality! If you are not afraid of strong sea winds, take a flight over the Curonian Lagoon. According to balloonists, the vastness of the Baltic Sea, the sand of the Curonian Lagoon and the sandy Curonian Spit make a deep impression on all who experience it. Are you a romantic person who finds nothing more beautiful than the rising sun? Take a night flight. You take off an hour before sunrise, so there is no doubt that you will see the first sunbeams and watch the awakening world from above. Adventure and thrill seekers are lifted to a height of seven kilometres, so those who have parachute jump certificates can try an extreme jump from the hot air balloon.
