Introduction This manual provides you with clear instructions and help how to prepare and use your computer-based program step by step for Windows Operating System.

Abbreviations: LMS – Learning Management System is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, and reporting the e-learning programs and training content. All our system courses are web-based: all the content and management is provided online. LMS works as a platform delivering necessary courses to logged training recipient and assuring you full interactive content. CPaT – Leading computer-based aviation training provider, our software technical provider.

How to Log In?

Step 1 In order to reach CBT login page, please visit Baltic Aviation Academy website at www.balticaa.com

Step 2 Select CBT from meniu above. (Figure 1).

Step 3 Fill in your login name and password in CBT LOGIN field, then press “Login� button. (Figure 2).

! Note: Please ask login name and password from your training project manager or your airline.

How to Log In?

If you need help from CPaT, technical provider for Technical Support, click this Icon (Figure 3) or contact throughout the LMS. Figure 4

! Note: As alternative (egz. refresh page), you may see our partner Sign-in window for User ID and Password. (Figure 4). Continue the same way as shown at Step3. Figure 3

! Note: CPaT Technical Support is available 24/7 to answer any questions or help with setup. Please find more details at page 22.

Check! After signing in, you will see your personal account window with buttons: • MY INFO • SETUP • ASSIGNMENTS • COMPLETION RECORD for your choise. (Figure 5).

! Note: MY INFO – all records will be already filled by your training project manager.

Step 4 Once signed in to your account you should go to Setup instructions per your assignment and platform. (Figure 6).

Your Platform & Browser will be displayed here. (Figure 7). If signed in using Mozilla Firefox, setup steps will prompt you to switch to Internet Explorer.

Select “CLICK HERE’ next to the Toolbox Neuron player in order to continue with the setup instructions.

If you have already installed Toolbox Neuron then skip to Step 10 (page 13).

While clicking Toolbook Neuron 9.0, you will get following window, where you can install Neuron or play a tester in order to know if it is working properly. (Figure 9 or Figure 10).

Toolbook Neuron Setup Step 7 Setup your browser with Trusted Sites. (Figure 11).

Trusted Sites Setup 1. On your Internet Explorer browser, select “Tools” to view Drop Down List. 2. Select “Internet Options”. 3. Select “Security” Tab. 4. Select the green “Trusted Sites” checkmark icon. 5. Select the “Sites” button. 6. UNCHECK the box “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone” to allow website. 7. Type http://www.click4cbt.com in top window and click “Add” button. 8. Click “Close” button.

9. Click “OK” button.


10 Cache Setup 1. On your browser locate and select “Tools” to view Drop Down List.

Toolbook Neuron Setup Step 8 Setup your browser with the proper Cache setup. (Figure 12).

2. Select “Internet Options”. 3. Select “General” Tab. 4. In Browsing History section, Select “Settings” IE 8/9, check “Delete browsing history on exit” 5. Increase Disk Space to 250 MB or Greater 6. Click “OK” button.. 7. Click “Apply” button. 8. Click “OK” button.

Installing Neuron Player Step 9 After you have configured your browser, you will need to download and install the Toolbook Neuron player. (Proceed from 1 to 8 actions written below “Install the Neuron Player”).

Install the Neuron Player 1. Select the link for installer: Neuron 9.0 Installer 2. When prompted to Run or Save, select “Save”. 3. Save to Desktop for easy access after download is complete. 4. Click the “neuron9.exe” icon on your desktop to Run the installer. 5. The Installation Wizard will display. Please select “Next”.

6. Click to Accept the license agreement in order to proceed to “Next”. 7. Select “Install” to continue.

Test if Toolbook Neuron has successfully been installed on your computer with the link below: Neuron Test or see step 6 (figure 10).

8. Select “Finish” (Figure 13).

Step 10 If you have installed Toolbook Neuron Player before, please come back to “SETUP” window and continue from Step 11. (Figure 15).

Step 12 While clicking Adobe Shockwave, you will get following window, where you can install Adobe shockwave (Figure 18) or play a tester in order to know if it is working properly. (Figure 19).

Step 14 Select “Different operating system or browser?”: 1 – Select your Operating System (Windows or MAC) 2 – Select the Version (Depending on your browser)

Step 16 Internet Explorer: 1. Select “Install” when prompted 2. If you have an “Add-on” bar on the top of your browser Select it, and then Select “Install” 4. Select “Next” You should see “Installation Complete”

Step 17 After configuring your browser and installing the player you are ready to go to “Assignments�. Please select this option on your account page (Figure 21).

! Note: This page shows the symbol agenda that will help you to understand your course progress. You need to select the + in order to expand the folder and select the module. (Figure 22).

Step 18 After playing the preloader you will see learning module window. “Click to Start� for module to begin. (Figure 23).

Inside the Course

! Note: This page shows how course slide looks like (Figure 24). Layout and structure may vary from different types and courses. Some slides offer you an interactivity, letting use buttons, knobs,... and see activity on schemes or screens.

1. Button for exiting the module and going back to menu.

2. Place for text (alternative for module voice).

3. Bacward and forward buttons. Next button do not work until voice of module finishes.

! Note: Once signed in to your account you may look at the completion record of your actions, such as status, attempts, time, completion date, etc. (Figure 25). You may print it as well.
