7. The Polar Express

The Polar Express is a fantastic way to experience the best of Lapland, and it’s fast becoming one of the best attractions in Sweden.

This epic train ride will take you from Kiruna – home to the Ice Hotel – and north into Lapland, as you skirt through the wilds of the Arctic and eventually all the way into Norway. The train ride is one of the most scenic in the world, and you’ll have the chance to travel in comfort while stopping off to enjoy activities such as dog sledding and hunting for the Northern Lights.
