M&T BANK GAME PREVIEW

QUOTH THE RAVEN “It really does trickle down from Coach Harbaugh. He makes most of the meetings fun, and we have a lot of fun. But the biggest thing Coach Harbaugh does is when it’s time to work, we work. When it’s time to have a good time, we can have a good time. ... It’s very familycultured around here, and that helps everything mesh well. When you put family in the locker room, put it on the walls with ‘TEAM’ signs, then it’s a coach who really echoes it and really wants it like that. I think everyone just kind of jumps on the train.” – Pro Bowler Marlon Humphrey on John Harbaugh's leadership

The 2019 Ravens (14-2) won a franchise-record 12-straight games to close out the regular season, also becoming the first team in club history to earn a No. 1 playoff seed. The Ravens have secured a playoff berth in eight of head coach John Harbaugh’s 12 seasons in Baltimore and have won the AFC North four times (2011-12, 2018-19). Under Coach "Harbs," Baltimore is one of four NFL teams (NE, GB & Sea.) to earn a playoff berth in eight of the past 12 seasons. Baltimore’s league-best 14-2 record in 2019 is also a franchise record, topping the 13-3 mark from 2006. (The last NFL team to register 14 victories during the regular season was New England in 2016.) In 2019, the Ravens ranked No. 1 in points (33.2) and rushing yards (206.0) per game, while they were No. 2 in total yards (407.6). Baltimore is the first team ever to average 200 passing and 200 rushing yards per game in a season. Baltimore also allowed the NFL’s third-fewest points (17.6) and fourth-fewest net yards (300.6) per game.

RAVENS PLAYOFF FACTS • The Ravens are 15-9 all time in playoff history: 3-3 at home, 10-6 on the road and 2-0 at a neutral site (Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa & Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans). • The Ravens' .625 postseason win percentage ranks as the NFL's secondbest mark since the 1970 league merger. Only New England (.643) is better. • Baltimore's 10 playoff wins under John Harbaugh (since 2008) tie Seattle for the NFL's second most. (New England has 16.) • Since 2008, the Ravens have forced an NFL-best 43 turnovers in 16 playoff games. Baltimore’s +16 turnover differential under Coach Harbaugh also ranks as the NFL’s No. 1 mark since 2008. • Under Coach Harbaugh (since 2008), the Ravens have tallied an NFL-high 26 interceptions during postseason play. • Baltimore has also permitted 19.6 points per game in the playoffs during the John Harbaugh Era. Only the NY Giants (19.5) have allowed fewer among teams to play in at least five postseason games since 2008. 2019 BALTIMORE RAVENS GAMEDAY | 5

12/9 Ravens legend Qadry Ismail joined cheerleaders and Poe in a PLAY 60 rewards assembly at Logan Elementary School in Dundalk, MD.

Air Force veteran Mat Bennett and his VetDog, Raven, pose on-field as they’re honored during the Ravens-Steelers game.

AMERICA’S VETDOGS GRADUATE RAVEN Mat Bennett is a retired Air Force veteran, who served 23 years, including five tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. His valiant career took its toll, both physically and mentally, which is why he reached out to America’s VetDogs when he medically retired in 2018. America’s VetDogs is an organization that specializes in placing highly-skilled service and guide dogs to individuals with physical injuries, PTSD, hearing and vision loss and seizures. The goal of the organization is to provide veterans with the opportunity to live life without boundaries. The Baltimore Ravens, in partnership with the Poe’s Crows Club, sponsored a black lab puppy to go through the intensive training program at America’s VetDogs. Her name is Raven.

Mat is a life-long Steelers fan and Pennsylvania native, so it is ironic that he would end up with a dog with such a deep connection to the Ravens organization. The pair were matched on 9/11/19 and bonded immediately. Mat has supported Raven’s love of her team by purchasing purple toys, leashes and collars, and her own Ravens jersey. Mat and Raven were honored at the regular season finale Ravens-Steelers game at M&T Bank Stadium – the first time an opposing team’s fan had been invited to the game and saluted by the Ravens. This was also an important experience for Mat, because prior to being matched with Raven, he likely would not have been comfortable facing the crowds and atmosphere that an NFL game welcomes. We thank Mat and Raven for their service to our country.
