COMMUNITY IMPACT

Dear Friend and Devoted Ravens Fan: The Ravens are committed to embracing and improving the communities surrounding our team. Annually, we produce a community relations impact book to highlight these efforts. We share this publication with all of our fans and supporters who follow the Ravens. Inside this book, you will see many of the activities our team completed in 2019. This important work to make positive change, especially from our players, continues to improve the lives of thousands of children, families and first responders, including members of the military and police departments. With encouragement and support from many of you, we continue to use our energy, visibility and investments to make our home a better place. Thank you for being an important part of these efforts. Sincerely,

Steve Bisciotti

social justice efforts “This community has embraced us; it is important for us to embrace the community and reciprocate in whatever small ways we can. [It is important to be] here at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, letting these kids here in attendance know that they are loved and supported, and that we care about them. It’s about not just saying it but being here and getting a chance to say it face to face.” – K Justin Tucker (top right)

HUDDLE FOR 100 – CAW TO ACTION Chris Moore

“It is always good to give back, always good to go out in the communities. We love showing love to the fans because they are always supporting us no matter if we win or lose. I love it – having [support] on the field and off the field, and today we had it off the field.”

“Huddle for 100 is one of the biggest volunteer days we have had in the history of our organization. We have always been a part of our community; we have always prioritized giving back. We are going to continue to do everything that we can to make our community the best that it can be because we know how great it is.”

“I am super blessed to be here in Baltimore, be a part of the community, to be able to give back a little bit of knowledge, to be able to talk to some students, being a kid that had dreams and inspirations. To be in this position, playing for this team and this city, it is almost unreal for me.”

“My parents always stressed the importance of using your platform in a positive way. We have an opportunity to give back and connect with the community. I found a few different avenues along the way to try to utilize my time and efforts and energy – breast cancer awareness, childhood literacy... I’m just trying to move the needle in each and every community that we’ve been in. I know I have kids that are counting on me and looking forward to more resources. I want to keep them interested and help them continue to grow and learn. That’s the reason why I do it.” – DB Brandon Carr

“First of all, I have to thank the Baltimore Ravens, what they do for the community and what they do for high school and youth football around the state. It is unbelievable. This award means a lot. There are a lot of great coaches out there today, so it is a great honor, and it is a humbling thing. I get embarrassed by stuff like this, believe it or not. It is a great honor and I appreciate the Ravens for everything they’ve done for this community.”
