After last year’s magical the AFC Championship their roster picked at Key players and coaches sides of the ball, and approaches, some pundits the Ravens could take

But no one in the organization will actually happen.

“We’re going to have this year – you wait, head coach John Harbaugh and see what we do.”

While some standout Patrick Queen (Steelers) (Dolphins), the Ravens running back Derrick a rare size and speed win back-to-back rushing his time in Tennessee.

With Henry in the mix, this might be the best collection of skill position players Jackson has ever had. Receiver Zay Flowers is coming off a record-setting rookie season, and Rashod Bateman is fresh off a contract extension. Nelson Agholor brings a veteran presence to the receiver room, and rookie Devontez Walker will be a deep threat from Day 1.

Running back Keaton Mitchell, who is coming off an explosive rookie season, will return from injury at some point in 2024, and Justice Hill is still only 26. Not to mention the Ravens have the best tight end room in the league led by All-Pro Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, who showed he can be an elite pass-catcher late last season.

“Having all of us on the same field at the same time, you don’t know whether it’s going to be run or pass, and you don’t know where the explosive play can come from,” Likely said.

On the defensive side, Roquan Smith is the undisputed leader as he enters Year 3 as a Raven. Paired with All-Pros Justin Madubuike and Kyle Hamilton, the Ravens have a true three-headed monster that opposing offenses have to worry about. Baltimore drafted speedy Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins in the first round and Penn State edge Adisa Isaac in the third round, and both rookies are hoping to make an impact on an already strong Ravens defense.

Zach Orr is in his first season as defensive coordinator, taking over for Mike Macdonald who is the new head coach in Seattle. Orr is extremely familiar with the Ravens defense, having played inside linebacker in Baltimore for three seasons, and has six years of experience as a defensive coach for the Ravens.

The path back to the No. 1 seed in the AFC won’t be easy. The Ravens face a league-high 10 playoff teams from last season and play in the toughest division in football.

But there’s no question what Baltimore’s expectations are.

“I’d like to think we’re always all in. In this business, if you’re not all in, then you’re all out, as far as I’m concerned,” executive vice president & general manager Eric DeCosta said. “So, we’re going to be in every single year. I know that’s what John [Harbaugh] expects, that’s what I expect, that’s what [owner] Steve [Bisciotti] expects, and I think that’s what our fans expect. So, you should expect that, too.”

HARBAUGH JOHN

HEAD COACH

COLLEGE: MIAMI (OH) | BORN: 9/23/62, PERRYSBURG, OH | EXP. (NFL/RAVENS): 27/17

Super Bowl-winning head coach John Harbaugh is in his 17th season at the Ravens’ helm. The 2019 NFL Coach of the Year has led Baltimore to a playoff berth in 11 (2008-12, 2014, 2018-20 & 2022-23) of his 16 previous seasons, and in 2012, captured the franchise’s second World Championship.

Though he never wants it to be about him, it’s impossible to ignore Harbaugh’s significant success. Here’s a look at the NFL’s second-longest-tenured head coach (Mike Tomlin – 18 seasons), entering the 2024 campaign:

• Since Harbaugh’s 2008 Baltimore arrival, the Ravens have posted the NFL’s third-most total victories (172, including playoffs). He has also led the Ravens to 160 regular season wins since 2008, ranking as the NFL’s fourth most.

• Under Harbaugh, Baltimore is one of four teams (GB - 12, NE - 12 & KC - 11) to earn a playoff berth in at least 11 of the past 16 seasons. Baltimore (five) is also one of four teams (KC - 6, Buf. - 5 & Phi. - 5) to make the playoffs in at least five of the past six seasons (2018-23).

• The Ravens’ 12 playoff wins since 2008 tie (GB) for the NFL’s fourth most, trailing only Kansas City, New England (16 each) and San Francisco (13). Of those Baltimore victories, an NFL-best eight have come on the road.

• Harbaugh’s 12 playoff victories tie (Tom Coughlin & Bill Cowher) for the fifth most by a head coach in the first 16 seasons of an NFL coaching career (Joe Gibbs – 17, Bill Belichick – 15, Chuck Noll – 15 & Mike Holmgren – 13).

• Harbaugh owns the most road playoff wins (eight) by a head coach in NFL history. Tom Landry (Dal.) and Tom Coughlin (Jax./NYG) are second with seven each.

• Harbaugh is one of nine coaches to earn at least 11 playoff berths in his first 16 seasons (Bud Grant & Mike Holmgren – 12; Harbaugh, Pete Carroll, Tony Dungy, Chuck Knox, Mike McCarthy, Chuck Noll & Marty Schottenheimer – 11).

• The 2012 Ravens won Super Bowl XLVII, 34-31, over the San Francisco 49ers in one of the most dramatic games in NFL history. Baltimore jumped to a 28-6 lead, but needed a critical goal-line stand late in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory. The Ravens overcame a furious second-half comeback and a 34-minute power outage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans to clinch the franchise’s second World Championship.

• Under Harbaugh’s guidance, the Ravens have appeared in four AFC Championship games (2008, 2011, 2012 & 2023) and have won at least one playoff game in eight of their 11 postseasons with him as head coach.

• Harbaugh is the only head coach in NFL history (since 1970 merger) to win a playoff game in each of his first five seasons. Notably, no other NFL coach has won a playoff game in each of their first four seasons at the helm. He is also the only head coach in NFL history to win a playoff game in six of the first seven seasons of a coaching career.

• John and his younger brother, Jim (2011, 2012 and 2013), the former 49ers head coach and current Chargers head coach, are the only NFL head coaches to reach three conference championships in the first five seasons of a coaching career.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Devoted to his family and Christian faith, John is most active in helping the Baltimore area be better for families. He earned the 2011 “Power of Excellence Award” from the (Ben) Carson Scholars for “demonstrating excellence in life and being a role model.” He served on the board of the Port Discovery Children’s Museum and is a contributor to numerous Baltimore-area events and charities. Also a willing volunteer, his wife, Ingrid, contributes to the Helping Up Mission and Sarah’s House, and she is on the Board of Trustees at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. In 2020, the couple made significant donations to help fund the distribution of meals to healthcare workers serving on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. John and Ingrid also support Compassion International, which is an organization that aims to positively impact the long-term development of children living in poverty globally. Additionally, the couple is heavily involved in FCA Baltimore and has sponsored several Baltimore City girls’ lacrosse teams, helping make the sport more available to youth who don’t traditionally have much access.

Harbaugh is a strong advocate of the U.S. Military. The NFL awarded him its 2013 Salute to Service Award, acknowledging exceptional efforts by those in the league who honor and support military members. (He was also a finalist for the award in 2011.) In 2012, the late Army Chief of Staff General Raymond Odierno presented him with the Outstanding Civilian Service Award. Harbaugh has also visited numerous military installations, including bases in the Persian Gulf as part of the inaugural NFL USO Coaches Tour (2009), the Naval Special Warfare Center in Coronado, Calif., (2011), Andrews Air Force Base – just two days after the capture of Osama Bin Laden (2011) – and undisclosed locations in Turkey and Afghanistan.

In 2008, Harbaugh helped institute Military Appreciation Day – an annual event that takes place during Ravens training camp. Since its establishment, over 11,500 service members have enjoyed preferred seating and opportunities to meet Ravens players and coaches. Once the season begins, Harbaugh then invites wounded warriors to be his guests at every Ravens home game. In 2017, he donated New Era hats to soldiers in Afghanistan. The hats represented all four of the major professional sports leagues and several from the NCAA. Additionally, he has purchased school supplies for children whose parents are serving in the military and has sent care packages to troops overseas.

PERSONAL

A history buff, Harbaugh has taken the Ravens to Gettysburg, Pa., during offseason team activities to learn about the Civil War. Near the end of the 2017 training camp, he surprised the entire team by cancelling practice on two occasions, loading everyone on buses to visit The Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery and another day visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. The trips were opportunities for players, coaches and staff to receive behind-the-scenes tours of the historic locations and show appreciation for what each represents.

John attended Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI) HS, where he and his brother, Jim, were inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 2016. John and Ingrid have one daughter, Alison, a 2024 University of Notre Dame alum who played lacrosse for the Irish and is now enrolled as a graduate student at South Florida.

A PREVIEW OF THE RAVENS OFFENSE

Led by 2023 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and a supporting cast of stars, there is an expectation of excellence for the Ravens offense heading into the 2024 season. Complementing a defense that led the league in most major categories in 2023, the offense has the potential to be just as dangerous on the other side of the ball.

After boasting the league’s top rushing attack in 2023, executive vice president and general manager Eric DeCosta added one of the decade’s most accomplished offensive stars in Derrick Henry. Pundits have called Henry a perfect fit for the Ravens scheme, hoping that the four-time Pro Bowler and two-time NFL rushing champion’s physicality and strength will complement the speed and elusiveness of Jackson.

The leader responsible for facilitating that talent into production is second-year offensive coordinator Todd Monken, whose first season saw Baltimore rank No. 4 in scoring (28.4 ppg) and No. 1 in rushing (156.5 ypg). With a year of experience calling Baltimore’s offense, Monken has the tools in his arsenal to make the unit one of the most versatile and dynamic in the league.

“I’M JUST EXCITED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY AND
BLESSED AND THANKFUL TO BE ABLE TO LAND HERE.”

Jackson thrived in his first year under Monken’s system, throwing for a career-best 3,678 yards, 24 TDs and just 7 INTs. He added 821 rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs, breaking a tie with Michael Vick for the most 800-yard rushing seasons (three) by a quarterback in NFL history.

After boasting the league’s top rushing attack in 2023, executive vice president and general manager Eric DeCosta added one of the most accomplished offensive stars of the past decade to the Ravens offense in Derrick Henry. Pundits have called Henry a perfect fit for the Ravens scheme, hoping that the physicality and strength of the four-time Pro Bowler and two-time NFL rushing champion will complement the speed and elusiveness of Jackson.

“I want to be somewhere I’m surrounded by talent, have a great quarterback and great players around as well, so I’m just excited for this opportunity and blessed and thankful to be able to land here,” said Henry.

Jackson has proven his ability to be a game-changer through the air and on the ground, so the addition of Henry will only add to the versatility of an already-dynamic offense. For the Heisman Trophy-winning duo to create the magic that both have showcased throughout their careers, Baltimore’s offensive line needs to be the anchor.

Tyler Linderbaum, a 2022 first-round pick, has established himself as the stalwart of the O-Line in his first two seasons. The 2023 Pro Bowler is expected to have another strong year this season, joined by returning starter Ronnie Stanley protecting Jackson’s blind side.

The 2024 season will provide opportunities for up-and-coming talent to make an impact, as Baltimore will be looking to replace over half of its starting offensive line after a series of offseason roster moves.

The Ravens hope that Roger Rosengarten, selected out of Washington in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, can make an immediate impact. In his final two seasons as a Husky, Rosengarten did not surrender a single sack. Meanwhile, Andrew Vorhees, who missed his rookie season with an injury, is expected to compete for playing time along with returning linemen Patrick Mekari and Ben Cleveland.

The receiving corps returns a mix of veteran and young talent looking to build on a strong 2023 season.

Zay Flowers exploded onto the scene last season, re-writing the Ravens’ rookie record books with 77 receptions for 858 receiving yards. Rashod Bateman is also expected to play a key role in the Ravens offense, heading into the 2024 season fresh off of a contract extension that signifies the Ravens’ belief in his talents.

The Ravens offense will also get a boost with the return of Mark Andrews, who racked up 45 receptions for 544 yards and 6 TDs before suffering a Week 11 injury that sidelined him until the AFC Championship game. In his absence, Isaiah Likely made the most of his opportunity, with Ravens’ fans taking notice of his many highlight-reel catches throughout the second half of the season. Both playmakers will be returning in 2024, giving the Ravens no shortage of weapons catching the ball.

Stacked with a dynamic quarterback under center, a superstar running back, a breakout star on the offensive line and re-energized wide receiver and tight end rooms, the Ravens’ offense is hungry and primed for a championship run.

RAVENS TEAM TRENDS

A PREVIEW OF THE RAVENS DEFENSE

In order to achieve extraordinary things, it’s imperative to foundation. The Ravens’ defensive philosophy is simple –middle. With key pieces at all three levels intact for the foreseeable replicating past seasons successes won’t be hoped for, but expected.

In February, Zach Orr was appointed as the successor to run and lead an arsenal that aims to overcome veteran departures, developing its younger players to produce at a high level.

Orr, 32, spent the previous two years as Baltimore’s inside linebackers coach, and his players thrived under his guidance. Since 2022, unit ranks in the Top 5 in interceptions (five), passes defensed (23), sacks (12.5), fumble recoveries (four) and tackles for loss (32).

“I’m very excited for ‘Z.O.,’” said ascending defensive back Brandon Stephens. “He’s devoted so much to this game, and he is very deserving for the next role he’s about to take on. I know he will work tirelessly to uphold the standard that has been built.”

While Orr’s defense has several playmakers all over the field, heartbeat of the unit lies up the spine.

Before the Ravens storm the field, it’s always ILB Roquan Smith up the group. After posting the sixth-most tackles (158) in last year, the two-time All-Pro is in his third season in a Ravens leading a fiery and fierce bunch that is always striving for greatness. pre-game speeches have become a staple not only for the the entire team. Ever since “Agent Zero’s” arrival, the Ravens “cooking with grease.”

ROQUAN SMITH

After Patrick Queen’s departure in free agency, hungry secondyear ILB Trenton Simpson and returning ILB Chris Board plan on playing major roles alongside Smith this season.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity that Trenton is going to have,” Harbaugh exclaimed. “He’s going to be ready for it, and he’s going to play really well. Chris Board is another guy that I didn’t like it when he left [in free agency after the 2021 season]. Now, I’m happy that he’s back. He’s a good, solid backup linebacker as well.”

Baltimore’s secondary is commanded by the All-Pro safety, Swiss-Army knife, Kyle Hamilton. After setting multiple records in 2023, the Notre Dame product looks to build on the success he achieved last season.

“Kyle Hamilton has unbelievable ability,” assistant head coach/pass game coordinator Chris Hewitt expressed. “He does everything; he covers, he blitzes, and he tackles. There’s nothing that kid can’t do.”

2023 DEFENSIVE RANKS

Respected veterans CB Marlon Humphrey, S Marcus Williams, CB Arthur Maulet and fourth-year pro Stephens all bring dexterity needed to succeed in the defensive backfield, but you can never have too much talent in that position room. When the Ravens selected CB Nate Wiggins with the 30th-overall pick, they identified key traits of his that add to a deep secondary room and that will keep Baltimore a “no-fly zone.”

“He’s tall; he’s fast; he’s athletic. He plays hard, plays physical and plays like a Raven,” Orr raved about Wiggins. “But, what stood out to me the most is that in the big-time games, at the big-time moments, whenever the ball came his way, he made the play.”

In the trenches, DT Justin Madubuike exploded onto the national scene with a teamhigh 13 sacks in 2023, and because of his efforts, earned a four-year contract extension this offseason.

“The thing that stands out about Justin is just his ability as a three-down player,” executive vice president and general manager Eric DeCosta asserted. “He can play the run, and he’s an exceptional pass rusher, too. He’s a guy that has gotten better every single year.”

Joining Madubuike on the line will be returning veterans DT Michael Pierce, DE Brent Urban, DE/DT Broderick Washington and DT Travis Jones, who all aim to wreak havoc for opposing offenses.

Fresh off a career-high nine sacks and a two-year extension, OLB Kyle Van Noy will anchor the youthful talent on the edge. OLB Odafe Oweh and eager upstarts OLBs David Ojabo, Tavius Robinson, and 2024 third-round draft selection Adisa Isaac are all determined to get after the quarterback.

The mentality of this defense remains in sync and has key philosophies that pay homage to the legends that suited up in the past. The foundation in place paves the way for the rest of the pieces to produce, and that’s what ultimately makes the future of this defense so bright.

A PREVIEW OF THE RAVENS SPECIAL TEAMS

Ravens fans have enjoyed an era of elite special teams play throughout recent history, and more eyes than ever will be on the unit this season. In his sixth year as Baltimore’s special teams coordinator, Chris Horton is looking to continue the impressive legacy amidst one of the most revolutionary rule changes in league history.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the 2024 NFL offseason was the implementation of new kickoff rules, drawing added attention to the special teams operation across the league. The new era of kickoff returns has created a lot of excitement and uncertainty amongst fans, coaches and players alike heading into the first year of the new rules, with an expectation that kickoff returns will be a much more prevalent part of the game. Following a record low of just 22% of kickoffs returned in 2023, special teams coaches estimate that 50-60% will be returned in 2024.

the departure of Pro Bowl returner Devin Duvernay, the Ravens brought in Baltimore native Deonte Harty and his explosive plays Buffalo, where he spent the 2023 season. Harty has gained national attention for his skill as a returner, earning Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors in his rookie campaign. In the mix to kickoffs and punts is fourth-year pro Tylan Wallace, who electrified M&T Bank Stadium with his walk-off, game-winning 76-yard PR-TD to beat the Rams last season (previous page).

Re-joining the squad in 2024 is Chris Board, who has a strong reputation for his prowess on special teams. Board, who began his career in Baltimore in 2018, has been a workhorse on special his entire career, logging the third-most special teams (2,094) among active non-specialists in the NFL.

Although changes in the special teams phase have been the talk of offseason, Ravens fans can expect continuity in their star-studded of specialists, headlined by the right leg of Justin Tucker. seven-time Pro-Bowler is a household name in the football widely recognized as the best kicker in league history. Baltimore faithful have come to expect greatness from the graduate, who has risen to stardom after first joining the organization as an undrafted free agent in 2012. Tucker enters the 2024 season as the most accurate kicker in NFL history, connecting on 395-of-438 (90.2%) career attempts.

Also key to the kicking operation is long snapper Nick Moore, who is back after missing the 2023 season with an injury. Moore earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2022, appearing in all 17 games for Baltimore in both 2021 and 2022. Jordan Stout is in his third year as the Ravens punter, after averaging a franchise-record 47.8 yards per punt in 2023.

Amidst an era of uncertainty and excitement surrounding special teams, Ravens fans should feel confident that the standard of excellence will remain the same.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

In June of 2024, the Ravens broke ground on the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club at Hilton Recreation Center. Ravens president Sashi Brown recently announced the combined (Stephen & Renee Bisciotti Foundation and Baltimore Ravens) $20 million donation toward the creation of the center. The team partnered with The Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Baltimore (BGCMB), Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, Ravens Legend Torrey Smith’s LEVEL 82, Green Street Academy and the surrounding community on this endeavor. Plans for the club include a multi-purpose athletic field with sports lighting, a teen center, activity-and-games and tutoring spaces.

KEY BRIDGE

In the wake of the Key Bridge collapse (3/26/24), the Baltimore Ravens donated $5 million to the Baltimore Community Foundation’s Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Key Bridge Fund. The Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Key Bridge Fund was established to provide ongoing support to the recovery and resilience efforts for families, port workers, first responders, small businesses and communities affected by the bridge’s collapse. This fund supports regional efforts to heal, respond and memorialize, in coordination with adjacent efforts with the Foundation’s strategic partners.

OUR TEAM. OUR COMMUNITY.

The Ravens Foundation, Inc. is committed to improving, encouraging and enabling the healthy development of youth in the Baltimore area, as well as other parts of the state of Maryland.

The Baltimore Ravens hosted their annual organization-wide volunteer day to support The Historic Samuel Coleridge-Taylor Elementary School #122 in Baltimore City. The Ravens Foundation, Inc. funded the renovation project, which provided upgrades to the first Baltimore City school built specifically to educate African American children in 1926.

There were over 200 Ravens organization volunteers, including 54 players and the entire 2024 rookie class, who joined representatives from Heart of America and Baltimore City Public Schools to transform classrooms, create wellness spaces for teachers, plant trees and paint outdoor murals to enhance the area. Volunteers also refurbished the school’s gymnasium and renovated the playground and outdoor courtyard.

Additionally, a neighborhood community center attached to the school underwent a complete transformation. The center was recently re-dedicated in honor of a beloved community civic leader, Theresa Marshburn.

In 2023, the Baltimore Ravens worked alongside 30 different sponsors to plan 84 unique activations impacting and supporting the extended Baltimore community. The Ravens work closely with partners to increase corporate and community awareness of the Ravens Foundation, player foundations and local charitable organizations. Through a wide variety of activities and events, the Ravens and various partners make a positive impact in the Maryland area while strengthening ties between the team, their partners and the community.

Ravens Cheerleaders, Poe, the Marching Ravens and team partners including Dunkin’ came together in a season-long series of Purple Friday caravans, spanning seven counties in Maryland and engaging nearly 20,000 students.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka joined forces with the Ravens to support the Catches for Canines Program. For each regular season reception made by the Ravens, Tito’s donated $100 to Warrior Canine Connection. With 328 regular season receptions, $32,800 was raised together!

The Ravens and M&T Bank teamed up with local nonprofit, Empact Art and Lafayette Square Community Development Corporation in support of the Lafayette Square Community at an Earth Day volunteer event.

CAW TO ACTION

RAVENS SUPPORT NFL’S CRUCIAL CATCH INITIATIVE

During the 2023 season, the Ravens invited fans and sponsors to join them in the team’s “Caw to Action” efforts. Throughout the day of service, the Ravens planned events across the Baltimore metro area and brought together over 33,860 volunteers, culminating in 5.7 million volunteer minutes served. Projects were separated into unique teams that ranged from sorting books, baby items and sports equipment, planting trees and harvesting vegetables, walking shelter dogs, serving meals to the underserved and packaging mental health kits for Baltimore City Schools students.

During the 2023 season, the Ravens and the American Cancer Society (ACS) continued to expand the reach of their efforts within the NFL’s Crucial Catch initiative, which addresses early detection and risk reduction efforts for all types of cancers. In October, the Ravens treated pre-selected cancer patients to custom-fitted wigs and a surprise afternoon at M&T Bank Stadium. Patients were transported from ACS’s Hope Lodge Baltimore to M&T Bank Stadium, where they received a tour, had their makeup done and were fitted for a brand new, custom wig of their choice. Attendees also spent time with current Ravens players.

THE RAVENS SAY THANK YOU TO VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS THROUGH THE SALUTE TO SERVICE CAMPAIGN.

In association with the NFL’s Salute to Service Campaign, the Ravens honor veterans and active duty members of the military year-round in many ways, including welcoming military members at training camp practices, hosting families from Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) at the Under Armour Performance Center (UAPC) through the team’s annual Flags with the Flock event, and showing support through care packages, letters and daily communication. At each home game, the Ravens honor groups that include military representatives, first responders, veterans and/or wounded warriors through the CSX Seats for Service program. In 2023, the Ravens also hosted their annual Youth Football and Military Combine at the Naval Academy, as well as the inaugural Fishing with the Vets fishing trips.

SALUTE TO SERVICE PLAY 60

Each year, the Ravens continue their commitment to prioritizing and promoting healthy nutrition and active lifestyles among today’s youth through the NFL PLAY 60 Campaign. The team delivered in-person programming through instructional fitness activities and insight. Through special partnerships with Carroll County Public Schools’ Project ACES (Active Children Excel in School) program, and Baltimore and Howard County Public School Systems, the team delivered the PLAY 60 message to more than 199,000+ local youth across the Baltimore metro area. Last April, the Ravens recognized 60 local students at the Under Armour Performance Center for going above and beyond through the PLAY 60 rewards program (above).

The 27-year-old quarterback was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the second time following the 2023 season. He is just the 11th player in league history to be named MVP multiple times.

After winning his first in 2019 by unanimous vote, joining Tom Brady as the unanimous winners in league history, Jackson fell just one vote short of doing it again. Jackson received 49 of 50 first place votes.

Jackson joins a legendary list that includes Patrick Mahomes, Joe Montana, Warner and Steve Young as two-time MVP winners. Peyton Manning is the all-time leader with five MVPs, followed by Aaron Rodgers (four) and three-time winners Brady, Jim Brown, Brett Favre, and former Baltimore Colts Hall of Fame quarterback Johnny Unitas.

no quarterback ever won two MVPs so young. Jackson did it in just six seasons, including only three as a full-time starter who played the entire year.

Jackson put an exclamation point on his regular season from Weeks 11-17 to up the MVP. The Ravens won six straight games to finish with the league’s record (13-4), and Jackson was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month December/January.

“Lamar Jackson is a phenomenal success,” said head coach John Harbaugh. a phenomenal success as a football player. He’s a phenomenal success person, as a leader, as a family man. In my opinion, there’s nobody better this league, especially nobody better for the Baltimore Ravens and for this organization and for this city.”
