COMMUNITY IMPACT

OUR MISSION IS TO WIN FOOTBALL GAMES, SERVE OUR FANS AND BE A POSITIVE FORCE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

Dear Friend and Devoted Ravens Fan: The Ravens are committed to embrace and improve the communities surrounding our team. This investment and kindness started with the Modell family when the franchise was born in 1996. Annually, we produce a community relations book to highlight these efforts. We share this publication with all of our fans and supporters who follow the Ravens. Included in this book are many of the activities our team completed in 2018. This important work to make positive change, especially from our players, continues to improve the lives of thousands of children, families and first responders, including members of the military and police departments. With encouragement and support from many of you, we continue to use our energy, visibility and investments to make our home a better place. Thank you for being an important part of these efforts. Sincerely,

Steve Bisciotti

Ravens team president Dick Cass adds finishing touches to the team’s 2018 signature project, a KaBoom! playground build in downtown Baltimore.

2018 RAVENS FOUNDATION

SIGNATURE PROJECT “Our goal with this project was to bring some fun and some joy to the kids in the community. With everything that they have on their plates today, the opportunity to just go out and have fun and play on a playground – we believe – is really important, and hopefully, really impactful.” – Heather Darney

“There’s been talk before that Brandon’s the ‘Iron Man’ now with his 176 consecutive starts, but he’s the ‘Iron Man’ also out in the community. The same guy that we get here, who makes plays for us, and we can count on all the time, that’s who he is as a person. I think everybody in this organization sees it. What a great honor bestowed on him to be nominated for this award, and what a great award it is.” – Don Martindale Ravens Defensive Coordinator

BRANDON CARR was voted by his teammates to represent the Ravens as one of 32 candidates for the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. (Philadelphia’s Chris Long

was selected for the national award.)

“As players, we understand our platform and how it can be used to direct change in a positive way. Our connection with the Baltimore community runs deep, and it is very important to us to not only provide financial assistance, but also our physical time and effort. It is our privilege to support so many people through these partnerships with great civic programs and law enforcement.”
