SCENES FROM TRAINING CAMP

After 20 years together... there’s nothing we can’t tackle. Trusted medical team of the Ravens. And you.

RAVEN

“I think the Baltimore Ravens have the team that can represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Lamar Jackson, two-time league MVP, is one of the most electrifying players that we have in our game. They got the skill position players. Obviously, they added Derrick Henry in the backfield – that’s going to be thunder to Lamar Jackson’s lightning.”

NUMBERS TO NOTE QUOTH THE

The Baltimore Ravens open their 29th preseason by hosting the Philadelphia Eagles at M&T Bank Stadium tonight. The Ravens are 71-34 in all-time preseason play, posting a 44-14 mark under head coach John Harbaugh, who enters his 17th season at the helm in Baltimore.

Producing the NFL’s best regular season record (13-4) in 2023, the AFC North Champion Ravens earned a No. 1 playoff seed. After beating the Houston Texans, 34-10, in the Divisional Round, the Ravens fell, 17-10, at home in the AFC Championship to the eventual Super Bowl Champion Kansas City

Under Harbaugh, Baltimore (11) is one of four teams (GB - 12, NE - 12 & KC - 11) to earn a playoff berth in at least 11 of the past 16 seasons (200823). Baltimore (five) is also one of four teams (KC - 6, Buf. - 5 & Phi. - 5) to make the playoffs in at least five of the past six seasons (2018-23).

In 2023, the Ravens tallied an NFLrecord 10 victories vs. teams that finished with a winning record, and they posted six wins vs. playoff teams.

Baltimore also ranked No. 1 in the NFL in both point differential (+203) and turnover margin (+12, tied w/ NYG).

In 2023, the Ravens became the first team in league history to finish a season ranking No. 1 in each points allowed (16.5 ppg), sacks (60) and takeaways (31, tied w/ NYG).

Led by QB Lamar Jackson, who was voted the 2023 AP NFL MVP for the

2 – TE Mark Andrews is just 2 receiving TDs shy of setting the Ravens all-time record. He’s also 91 catches and 921 receiving yards away from becoming the franchise’s career record-holder in each category.

10 – RB Derrick Henry needs 10 rushing TDs to become the fifth player in NFL history with at least 100 rushing TDs in his first nine seasons, joining LaDainian Tomlinson (138), Emmitt Smith (125), Jim Brown (106) and Shaun Alexander (100).

1 –QB Lamar Jackson needs one win over his first three starts to become the fifth quarterback in NFL history to reach 60 victories within the first 80 starts of a career, joining Patrick Mahomes (64), Tom Brady (60), Ken Stabler (60) and Roger Staubach (60).

EXCELLENCE IS A HABIT

SINCE JOHN HARBAUGH WAS appointed head coach of the Baltimore Ravens in 2008, a profound transformation has gripped the team, shaping it into a force that resonates with resilience, discipline, passion and relentless physicality. The foundational traits cultivated by Harbaugh make his squads uniquely formidable. And with these attributes, fans have grown accustomed to annual success in Charm City, where the pursuit of greatness isn’t just an aspiration, but an expected outcome.

When identifying a common theme of Harbaugh’s coaching tenure, one

word stands out: consistency. Under his leadership, he has steered Baltimore to the playoffs 11 times in 16 seasons, joining a short list of teams (NE - 12, GB - 12 & KC - 11) to accomplish this feat. Since his 2008 arrival, the Ravens have been ultra reliable, producing the NFL’s thirdmost total victories (172), including 14 overall just last year.

Achieving the level of success Harbaugh has attained is no easy task. It demands vision, innovative thinking, meticulous planning and flawless communication to effectively convey a unifying message. His approach goes far beyond X’s and O’s, as he constantly works to shape a culture of collaboration and partnerships that fuel sustained success. Perhaps this is what sets Harbaugh apart from the rest, a rare ability to forge deep connections with his team—not just during

practices and games, but in crucial moments off the field, where trust and camaraderie are constructed.

“I think he’s a genuine person, a loving person and a caring person,” defensive coordinator Zach Orr exclaimed. “He wants to see you be successful as a person. He wants to see you have a family, take care of a family. He’s hard-working. He’s all about ball, but he has a big picture of what’s going on in the world, and he wants to express his feelings about that. He’s a future Hall of Fame coach.”

As Harbaugh enters his 17th season in command, he’s poised to propel a championship-caliber team toward Super Bowl greatness. The genuine connection built with his players fuels the team’s passion, helping prime everyone to consistently meet – and exceed – the lofty standard that’s been set.

Rookie T Roger Rosengarten was drafted by the Ravens in the second round in 2024 Roger played right tackle for the Washington Huskies, who appeared in the National Championship game vs Michigan last January Roger protected the blind side of Falcons left-handed first-round draft pick Michael Penix Jr Learn more about Roger below:

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE TEAM OUTSIDE THE NFL?

 Yes, I’m from Highlands Ranch, Colorado. It’s south of Denver. I’ve grown up a fan of all Denver sports teams, such as the Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos. Those were my first passions, but I joined The Flock so, “Go Ravens!”

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS?

 As a football player: I’m tough, nasty and physical. As a person: I’m fun, laughable and charismatic.

HOW DO YOU WIND DOWN AFTER PRACTICE AND GAMES?

 I like to spend time with friends and family. We sometimes go back to the house or go out to eat, which I love to do. For anything that involves friends and family, I’m there.

WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO KARAOKE SONG?

 Anything from Morgan Wallen.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY?

 The Fourth of July. This year, I spent it in the mountains. I love the Fourth of July. I spent the last four years on a lake. We were always in the water, specifically Lake Washington and Lake Chelan in Washington. I enjoy spending July Fourth on the lake and eating barbeque with friends and family.

WHERE DO YOU FIND THE MOST PEACE?

 I’ll go with friends and family again. Anytime I’m with my family, I’m at home and having fun.

FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: MOUNTAINS, BEACH, CITY OR CAMPING?

 I like the beach. I’ve gone to Cabo a couple of times, which is always fun.

2024 SIGNATURE PROJECT

On Wednesday, June 5, the Baltimore Ravens hosted their annual organizationwide volunteer day at The Historic Samuel Coleridge-Taylor Elementary School #122 in Baltimore City. The construction and renovation project marked a $200,000 community investment fully funded by the Ravens Foundation, Inc. to benefit the first Baltimore City school built specifically to educate African American children in 1926.

Nearly 200 Ravens staff members and 43 players, including WR Zay Flowers, TE Isaiah Likely, C Tyler Linderbaum, RB Keaton Mitchell, ILB Roquan Smith and the entire 2024 rookie class, participated in the build day.

Throughout the day, volunteers refurbished the school’s gymnasium, classrooms, teachers’ lounges and hallways. Additionally, volunteers renovated the playground and outdoor courtyard and built bikes to be donated to the school. The Ravens’ signature project remains an annual commitment of the organization to support the Baltimore community.

Previous projects across Baltimore include renovations to Morrell Park Elementary/Middle School (2023) Franklin Square Elementary/Middle School (2022), Edgecombe Circle Elementary School (2021 & 2020), Curtis Bay Elementary School (2020) and the Webster Kendrick Boys and Girls Club (2019).

4/22 The Ravens and M&T Bank joined for their annual Earth Day event. Volunteers engaged in the restoration of the Lafayette Square community by participating in an outdoor beautification project, including trash pickup, mosaic making, street cleaning, gardening, weeding and tree planting.
4/12 In celebration of Read Across America Week, 33 Ravens staff members, including Executive Vice President and General Manager Eric DeCosta read their favorite children’s book to students across Maryland.
4/4 Head coach John Harbaugh addressed the 170 Baltimore-area female students athletes from over 60 schools at the Ninth Annual L.I.F.T (Leading and Inspiring Females to Thrive) Conference.
