SCENES FROM TRAINING CAMP
After 20 years together... there’s nothing we can’t tackle. Trusted medical team of the Ravens. And you.
G/C BEN CLEVELAND
QUOTH THE RAVEN
“What I’ve seen from ‘Trav,’ he is a special human first – a special man – and then a special football player. He’s talented, and he wants it just as a bad as anybody you’d be around. You want to talk about attention to detail, that’s how he approaches every day. Whether it’s football school, OTAs or in the meetings; I think he should be able to have success. He has to continue to work – which I know he will – but he’ll be in that type of position to have a successful season.”
Defensive Line Coach Dennis Johnson on DT Travis Jones
The Baltimore Ravens host the Atlanta Falcons today at M&T Bank Stadium. The contest marks each team’s second preseason game. The Ravens are 7135 in all-time preseason play, posting a 44-15 mark under head coach John Harbaugh, who is in his 17th season at the helm in Baltimore.
Producing the NFL’s best regular season record (13-4) in 2023, the AFC North Champion Ravens earned a No. 1 playoff seed. After beating the Houston Texans, 34-10, in the Divisional Round, the Ravens fell, 1710, at home in the AFC Championship to the eventual Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Under Harbaugh, Baltimore (11) is one of four teams (GB - 12, NE - 12 & KC - 11) to earn a playoff berth in at least 11 of the past 16 seasons (2008-23). Baltimore (five) is also one of four teams (KC - 6, Buf. - 5 & Phi. - 5) to make the playoffs in at least five of the past six seasons (2018-23).
NUMBERS TO NOTE
172 – Ravens total victories since 2008, John Harbaugh’s first year at the helm in Baltimore. The 172 victories are the NFL’s third most during that span (2008-23).
11 – Under Harbaugh, Baltimore (11) is one of four teams (NE - 12, GB - 12 & KC - 11) to earn a playoff berth in at least 11 of the past 16 seasons. Baltimore (5) is also one of four teams (KC - 6, Buf. - 5 & Phi. - 5) to make the playoffs in at least five of the past six seasons (2018-23).
2 – Now in his 17th season in Baltimore, Harbaugh is the NFL’s second-longest tenured head coach (Pittsburgh’s Mike Tomlin - 18).
In 2023, the Ravens tallied an NFLrecord 10 victories vs. teams that finished with a winning record, and they posted six wins vs. playoff teams. Baltimore also ranked No. 1 in the NFL in both point differential (+203) and turnover margin (+12, tied w/ NYG).
In 2023, the Ravens became the first team in league history to finish a season ranking No. 1 in each points allowed (16.5 ppg), sacks (60) and takeaways (31, tied w/ NYG).
Led by QB Lamar Jackson, who was voted the 2023 AP NFL MVP for the second time (also 2019) in
12 – Harbaugh’s 12 playoff victories in his first 16 years as head coach tie him for fifth all time among all head coaches.

his career, Baltimore ranked No. 4 in scoring (28.4 ppg) and No. 6 in total yards (370.4), averaging a NFL-high 156.5 rushing yards per game.

Record
ON THE RAVENS AT THIS STAGE OF PRESEASON & TRAINING CAMP:
“The vision and what you become as a football team is a product of the people who do it and what they do and what happens every day – the challenges you have, the obstacles you have to overcome, and how you approach those things. If you’re willing to keep fighting, and keep getting back up and never quit, then the fight’s not over until you say it is, no matter what happens. That’s a big statement, but [training] camp is a little bit like that. You have to keep coming back every day, come out and grind and try to become better – become a better player and a better team every day. Our guys are doing that.”

FEATURING KIDS PAGES POE!
SINCE HATCHING IN 1998,
Poe and the Ravens have gone together like crab cakes and football! Known for his loyalty to Charm City and anything Maryland, Poe will eagerly show his pride for his home city and state. With Ravens being known as one of the smartest bird species, Poe is no slouch in the classroom and loves to read and do brain teasers. Though sometimes he can be a little off, like the spelling bee in elementary school when he spelled Baltimore B-A-L-M-E-R. Don’t bring it up, sore subject.
Other than football, Poe’s favorite kind of ball is a goofball. He never misses a chance to photo bomb pictures, dance for no reason or act out his favorite book at the library. Once, he hid in a stuffed animal
bin at a local toy store to surprise unsuspecting teddy bear shoppers.
When he’s not cheering on the Ravens or goofing off, fitness is Poe’s passion! If you can’t find him at M&T Bank Stadium, check Merritt Clubs, he’s probably there.
You can find Poe all over the community at festivals, parades, birthday parties, weddings, Purple
Friday Caravans, and everywhere in between. He specializes in high fives, doing the floss, and posing for selfies with Ravens fans! If for some reason he seems tired, just give him a protein shake, those always get him going!

TRENTON SIMPSON
Linebacker Trenton Simpson, a 2023 Ravens second-round draft pick, is poised to step into a starting role in 2024. The former Clemson Tiger appreciates being able to learn from All-Pro ILB Roquan Smith and defensive coordinator Zach Orr, his linebackers coach from last year. Learn more about him below:
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE NBA/MLB/NHL/MLS/ FORMULA 1 TEAM?
The Los Angeles Lakers are probably my favorite NBA team. My favorite professional players are LeBron James and Cam Newton.
WHAT JOB WOULD YOU HAVE IF YOU WEREN’T PLAYING PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL?
I studied Television and Broadcasting at Clemson, so something in that field. I would also maybe go into coaching football after my playing career.
IF YOU COULD SWITCH LIVES WITH ANY TEAMMATE FOR ONE DAY, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
I would probably switch lives with Lamar Jackson, just to see what it would be like to be a quarterback.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE THAT YOU’VE VISITED?
I love Texas, so Frisco or Dallas maybe. That’s where I trained for the NFL Combine in 2023.
DO YOU HAVE ANY HIDDEN TALENTS?
I can bowl pretty well. My highest score was like a 165. Is that good? (laughter) I know 300 is the best, but I’m talking about my type of competition, 165 is crazy.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS/COURSE YOU TOOK IN COLLEGE?
My favorite class at Clemson was Public Speaking. I think that class allowed me to open up, become comfortable speaking in front of people, and now when I have media interviews, I feel comfortable.
WHO/WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST MOTIVATION?
My mom.
WHAT IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST (NON-FOOTBALL RELATED)?
I definitely want to go to Hawaii. I want to go skydiving.
WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO KARAOKE SONG?
Something by Lil Baby. That’s my favorite artist.
DO YOU HAVE ANY NICKNAMES AMONG FAMILY/ FRIENDS/TEAMMATES?
T-Simp. When I wore No. 22 at Clemson, everyone called me ‘Double Deuce.’ @trentonsimpson_
