quoth the raven “That stadium [in Baltimore] is awesome. Homefield advantage in some places is the real deal. Baltimore is one of them. There are some fan bases that understand they can be an advantage. M&T Bank Stadium is a stadium that understands it.” – Former NFL Punter Pat McAfee

Producing the NFL’s best record (13-4), the 2023 AFC North Champion Ravens earned a No. 1 playoff seed and now host the Houston Texans in today’s Divisional Round game. The Ravens clinched the AFC’s top postseason spot for the second time (2019) in franchise history. The 2023 campaign also marked Baltimore’s first division title since 2019 and the fifth (2011-12, 2018-19) under head coach John Harbaugh. Since 2008 under John Harbaugh, Baltimore (11) is one of four (NE - 12, GB - 12 & KC -11) to make at least 11 playoff appearances over the past 16 seasons. On defense, Baltimore became the first team in league history to finish a season ranking No. 1 in each of the following categories: points allowed (16.5 ppg), sacks (60) and takeaways (31, tied with NYG).

ON THE 2023 RAVENS: “I believe that this is one of the most connected teams I’ve ever been around. I think it starts with the fact that I really believe they love one another. I think they have a spiritual connection that runs through the whole team. You can just tell when a group of people like being around one another, like working together, trust one another, believe in one another and want to see everybody succeed – the idea that if one of us succeeds, we all succeed. I see that with this group as much or more than any other team that I’ve been around in 40-plus years of coaching.”
