2019 nfl coach of the year

S

uper Bowl-winning head coach John Harbaugh is in his 15th season at the Ravens’ helm. The 2019 NFL Coach of the Year has led Baltimore to a playoff berth in nine (2008-12, 2014 & 201820) of his 14 previous seasons, and in 2012, captured the franchise's second World Championship. Though he never wants it to be about him, it’s impossible to ignore Harbaugh’s significant success. He is the NFL’s third-longest-tenured head coach (Bill Belichick – 23 seasons & Mike Tomlin – 16 seasons) entering the 2022 campaign.

As a coach, he’s so competitive. He’s a hard worker. I got to see it as a player, and now being on his coaching staff, I see it from this side. He’s loyal to his staff and his players – he’s rolling with us no matter what, and he’s confident that he’ll take us to face anybody. We genuinely feel that and love that about him. He’s a future Hall of Fame coach.

TE Mark Andrews joined teammates to recognize military families from Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).

2022 offseason in the community In May, the Ravens teamed up with Flags of Valor and Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) to recognize five families at the Under Armour Performance Center. Alongside TE Mark Andrews, OLB Daelin Hayes, CB Marlon Humphrey, RB Nate McCrary, LB Kristian Welch and HC John Harbaugh, each family created a personalized wooden American Flag honoring their fallen service member before being presented with a customized jersey in their honor. Throughout the offseason, players hosted or participated in a wide range of events and programs. TE Nick Boyle, FB Patrick Ricard and T Ronnie Stanley participated in the annual Pawject

Runway Charity Fashion Show, hosted by The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS); RB Nate McCrary participated in One Love’s Move for Love 5K walk/run and community day; DB Brandon Stephens hosted a backpack giveaway; OLB Tyus Bowser, RB Gus Edwards, QB Lamar Jackson, G/DT Kahlil McKenzie, ILB Patrick Queen, WR Tylan Wallace and S Marcus Williams each hosted their own football camps/fun days. As the Ravens returned to traditional offseason community giving, the team set a team-high number of events and programs. This 2022 offseason, the team hosted 74 events and 65 players participated in at least one event.
