Day 2: Trek to Santa Teresa Village (B/L/D) Hike through the jungle mountains in beautiful pristine landscapes surrounded by abundant flora and fauna and friendly local people. Stop for a well-deserved lunch halfway in the fresh mountain air before arriving to Santa Teresa village (1,680m) for the night. Make an optional visit to the hot springs to soak your sore muscles (20 soles extra). (17 kilometers; 8 hrs. approx.) Day 3: Trek to Aguas Calientes (B/L/D) Hike along a relaxing path for 3 hours to reach the low altitude hydroelectric station at 1,880 meters for lunch. Hike 3 more hours slightly uphill to reach the long awaited town of Aguas Calientes 2,010 meters. Recharge your batteries by taking an optional visit to the hot springs (10 soles extra) and have dinner at a local restaurant. Rest up for a big day ahead in Machu Picchu! Day 1: Transfer Iquitos - Jungle Lodge & Activities in the Amazon Jungle (L/D) Get picked-up in Iquitos and depart from the port by fast boat for a 3-hour ride traversing the Amazon river to reach the jungle lodge. Go on a boat trip to Lake Sapote to look for different monkey and bird species. At night go on a boat safari to see caimans, birds and mammals.

Attend a pre-departure briefing at Milhouse Cuzco one day prior to your trek where you can meet your guide, ask questions and get last minute information.

Day 2: Activities in the Amazon Jungle (B/L/D) Enjoy breakfast and head out on your Leoncito Hike to see amazing flora, monkeys and huge ceiba trees. Jump on a boat trip to catch fish and enjoy the river wildlife. Go on a night-walk to search for huge frogs and nocturnal jungle animals. Day 3: Activities in the Amazon Jungle & Return to Iquitos (B/L) Have breakfast this morning aboard a small boat on the Amazon River en route to your exciting activity! Get the chance to swim close to pink and gray dolphins. After lunch, spot wild animals before taking your boat back to Iquitos. 4D/3N: Stay an EXTRA NIGHT in the Amazon and get the opportunity to go on an extra jungle walk in search of jaguars. Interact with the locals while visiting a jungle village and take a nighttime canoe trip. 5D/4N: Stay 2 EXTRA NIGHTS in the Amazon and experience the same extra activities on day 4, plus spend an additional day to explore the jungle further on foot and by boat or canoe.
