breathing into your lungs right now is a gift from Him. Every moment of life is something we should be thankful for. However, the most incredible thing He has done for us is sending Jesus. Do you know why that’s so amazing? Check yourself: How many times have you lied in your life? Have you ever taken something that didn’t belong to you? (That’s stealing.) You should never use God’s name to curse, but how many times have you said, “Oh my G-d!”? Have you ever been disrespectful toward your parents? These are some of God’s “Ten Commandments.” If you’ve broken them that’s called “sin” and you will be guilty on the day God judges people. God’s place of punishment is called Hell, and it lasts forever. This is why it’s so amazing that God would send Jesus. You have done nothing to deserve God’s love, and yet He loved you so much that he sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross, taking your punishment for you. Then He rose from the dead, defeating death forever. The Bible says that if you turn away from your sins in sorrow toward God for what you’ve done, and put your full trust in Jesus to save you, then God will forgive all your sins and you will be welcomed into Heaven when you die. Pray to God now telling Him you want to repent and place your faith in Jesus today. Then get a Bible and read it every day. God will never leave you.
