The cost of playing is displayed at the point of sale. The quarterly financial statements are displayed at the sales desk. Book and ticket prices will not be discounted for late customers. The session will start on time regardless of late customers. All players are responsible for their own books, tickets and electronic machines. Players are not allowed to purchase or play more than one electronic machine per session. Players can only purchase a combined maximum in paper and electronic tickets of 48 tickets per game. Children are not permitted to play charity housie. There must be a 30 minute break between Charity Housie and Club Bingo sessions as a harm minimiser. You are not permitted to buy Jackpots tear-offs or Bonus Games only. You do not have to buy tear-offs or Bonus Games, these are optional. More than one serial number of any type of book or ticket may be used during a session provided the different serial numbers are clearly stated by the caller before commencement of each game. At the commencement of each game the caller will announce, the type of game to be played, the colour of the ticket, the serial number of the ticket and the value of the prize. All winners must have the correct serial number on the ticket they are playing to receive a prize. In the event of a wrong number being called and repeated, the number will be deemed to be out. If a number is displayed on the board and is missed by the caller, that number will only be accepted as a valid number if it is called and repeated by the caller before the end of the game and providing the bingo machine is not faulty. A winning ticket will be a ticket that has a completed full house and has the last number called. In the event of a shared house all winners must have the last number called. The number will be deemed called once the caller has repeated the number a second time. The prize announced at the beginning of the game will be shared equally amongst the winners. The prize money will be rounded to the nearest dollar- no cents will be paid. You must wait until a number is called and repeated by the caller before declaring you a winner. To verify winning tickets the assistant will take the nominated ticket to an independent player who will be asked to check the numbers are correct with both the assistant and the caller. To win a Jackpot game you must have a completed full house within the number of calls stated by the caller before the Jackpot game commences. The winning Jackpot ticket will be retained and form part of the records. When the ticket is verified, the game will be deemed closed when the caller announces, “House pays one or two etc winners- game is now closed” and winners are then paid their prize money. No further claims for prize money will be accepted after this. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure they are identified by the caller as a winner. All numbers on a card must have been called to win a full house. Prize money will not be paid on games played on incorrect serial numbers. Players must check ticket’s serial number before playing each game. Prize money will be calculated based on book sales at each session and shall not exceed 75% of gross takings. Raffle operated by anyone other than Little Wings are not permitted during the game. The Charity’s management has the right to refuse the sale of housie books to any person and may refuse entry to the premises. Staff and Representatives from the charity are not permitted to play. Disputes concerning prize money, or the conduct of this housie session shall be directed to the session staff in the first instance.
