In 2015, our product development team recognised that school sportswear needed to change. Students wanted performance fabrics and modern designs, the kind of garments they’d look and feel great wearing outside of school.

We worked with schools and students to design the most contemporary and high-performing sportswear range in the market with one aim - to inspire students of any age, gender and body type to get involved in school sports with confidence.

Today, our APTUS sportswear range is the fastest growing school sportswear brand in the UK, helping millions of children to give their best in games and PE. Not only that, it’s transitioned to more sustainable fabrics too - reflecting our dedication to doing the right thing for the planet and future generations.

APTUS Performance

Quality

APTUS Performance products were designed to meet the diverse needs of today’s students and PE teachers. Every garment has a stylish aesthetic and overall distinctive look, no matter the activity. But most of all, they provide exceptional performance time and again, meeting the demanding requirements of school sportswear.

Performance

Designed using a combination of lightweight breathable fabrics along with 3D dimple mesh panels, all Performance garments are created to be comfortable and effective during physical activity.

We collaborate with students, teachers, fabric specialists and product professionals to continuously evolve the performance needs of our products and stay at the forefront of sportswear technology and innovation.

Designed with women and girls.

The performance range is made using recycled materials, so students can look good while helping to do good for the planet too.

In addition to our core range, our female-specific products were designed in close consultation with female PE staff and students to encourage participation with garments that flatter, boost body confidence and ultimately perform.

APTUS Essentials

Gender-neutral, entry-level sportswear.

Launched as a gender-neutral, entry-level sportswear collection, APTUS Essentials is aimed at both the primary and secondary school market and was inspired by our work with Mermaids UK, a charity supporting children and young people who are gender diverse.

All products in the Essentials range can be coordinated with our Performance range, as well as made-to-order.

Junior Collection.

The APTUS Essentials Senior Collection caters for secondary school students with garments designed to encourage them to get stuck into school sports. The Collection offers additional items such as our Essentials Skort and Multisport Shirt to create a versatile sports kit for older students.

The APTUS Essentials Junior collection combines modern design with functionality, providing the perfect solution for primary schools in need of a stylish PE kit that students look great in and want to wear.
