A lifetime of care Since 1944, BaptistCare has been caring for people. We are proud of our centres, our grounds and our activities - but most of all, we are proud of our community. This is what makes BaptistCare special. We are a community of people who respect one another’s independence and individuality, while understanding the importance of support and friendship. As a Christian not-for-profit organisation, our focus is outstanding care and a quest to truly make a
difference. This extends to our work in community housing, support for women and children escaping domestic violence and commitment to assisting people in need throughout the community. You can be sure we are passionate about life-transforming care because we practise it every day, in countless ways. This is the BaptistCare difference. We’re here, Because we care.

Your life at George Forbes House MyTeam MyTeam is all about improving quality of life. It is care that focusses on connecting with you, knowing your story and supporting you to live a meaningful life. Residents, families and consistent team members are all partners in MyTeam. This means the same group of team members provide personal care for the same residents, every day they work. Each team will be better placed to understand the needs and preferences of those residents in their care, so they can support their choices.

Our lifestyle coordinators create varied activity calendars to help you stay both physically and mentally active, including exercise programs, crafts, games, live entertainment, outings, concerts and celebrations for special occasions. There’s something for everyone.

Chaplaincy care As a Christian not-for-profit organisation, our purpose is to respect and care for you. That’s why our chaplains are here to support you through life’s challenges and experiences, whatever your beliefs and however you express your spirituality.
