Your Life At Morven Gardens MyTeam MyTeam is all about improving quality of life. It is care that focusses on connecting with you, knowing your story and supporting you to live a meaningful life. Residents, families and consistent team members are all partners in MyTeam. This means the same group of team members provide personal care for the same residents, every day they work. Each team will be better placed to understand the needs and preferences of those residents in their care, so they can support their choices.
Lifestyle At any age, it’s important to have meaning and purpose, and to have fun. Our lifestyle coordinators create varied activity calendars to help you stay both physically and mentally active, including exercise programs, crafts, games, live entertainment, outings, concerts and celebrations for special occasions. There’s something for everyone.

In the tranquil mountain village of Leura, Morven Gardens is home to a thriving community. Stop by the café for coffee with friends, or grab a book from the library and relax by the fireplace. For nature lovers, there’s plenty of nooks scattered throughout the many gardens, where you can sit and take in the scenery. We also hold regular services in our chapel that you’re always welcome to join. When you want to go out, there are shops, clubs, and churches nearby.
Dining You’ll love the home-style meals and your friends and family are welcome to join you. For family gatherings, our function rooms provide the perfect spot to celebrate and our hairdresser can help you look your best for the occasion.

Caring For You Your dedicated Care Team Manager will meet with you and your family to plan how we will support your choices, preferences and needs. You’ll have access to a range of health professionals onsite, with registered nurses on duty 24/7. Rest assured, we will be there to provide the care you need when you need it. Dementia Care We are able to support clients living with dementia, with a focus on promoting well-being and independence, and what brings meaning and purpose to the lives of each individual. Your care team partners will provide care that is flexible, compassionate and responsive to the needs of each and every resident.

Palliative Care Using our ‘Affirm, Balance, Comfort’ approach, we discuss your choices with you and your family on admission and throughout your stay. This allows us to adapt your care plan to suit your changing needs and brings great comfort to you and your family, as everyone will clearly know and be involved in decisions around end of life care. Chaplaincy Care As a Christian not-for-profit organisation, our purpose is to respect and care for you. That’s why our chaplains are here to support you through life’s challenges and experiences, whatever your beliefs and however you express your spirituality. They’ll spend time getting to know you, offer friendship, and be there to support you in times of need.
In the beautiful town of Leura, Morven Gardens is surrounded by beautiful established gardens. The moment you walk into Morven Gardens you will be greeted with our friendly staff. We have both general care rooms and dementia care rooms in our secure memory care centre. 7

Beechworth and Clermont areas have communal dining/living rooms shared between just 15 people, which ensures a close-knit community. Shared areas including coffee shop and internet café provide plenty of space for interaction with the wider Morven Gardens community. Nature lovers will love our neatly manicured grounds with ample seating throughout, providing the perfect spot to relax. All residents also have access to the library/theatre room, activity areas, family function rooms, chapel and hairdresser. 10

Our most recently renovated section, Dunmore has its own separate entry and contains communal dining/living areas shared between just 12 people. Fairholm is our dedicated dementia care area. A small communal dining and lounge room shared between just 12 people lends itself to a quieter and more soothing environment. Neatly manicured gardens with ample seating throughout provide the perfect retreat for nature lovers.
