Get your Jaguars season tickets via payroll deduction Baptist Health and the Jacksonville Jaguars are offering employees the opportunity to purchase season tickets and automatically payroll-deduct the cost between May and December. Just follow these steps:

Go to the Discounts web page in the Employee Experience section of the intranet to review the Baptist Health pricing map. If you are renewing your season tickets and want to use payroll deduction, check the renewal deadline on your invoice.

Call Russell Rendon, Jaguars ticket sales manager, at 633.6410. Identify yourself as a Baptist Health employee and mention the offer code: BAPTIST. You will need to provide your name, employee ID number and the seating area you want to purchase. The Jaguars will create an account and assign your Jaguars ID, which you need to complete the transaction.

Download the payroll deduction authorization form from the Discounts webpage in the Employee Experience section and forward it to the Baptist Health Payroll Department, Howard Bldg., Suite 414. The form must be received by May 2. Payments will begin with the May 30 pay date and continue for 16 pay periods.

Pastoral Care Conference is May 2 “The Way to Wellness: Coping with Mental Illness and Trauma through Pastoral and Psychological Counseling” is scheduled for May 2, 8 am – 4 pm at the University of North Florida, Adam W. Herbert University Center. The keynote speaker is Pamela Cooper-White, PhD, professor of Pastoral Theology, Care and Counseling at Columbia Theological Seminary, and co-director of the Atlanta Theological Association’s doctoral program in Pastoral Counseling. Click on the “Legal Notices” section of the Employee Home Page on the intranet to view the notice. This notice is required under the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA) and replaces the Summary Annual Report you received in the past. Dr. Noel has been an RN since 1971 and a psychiatric ARNP since 1997. She was ordained as a minister in 2003.

Relay for Life Baptist Beaches will participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life at Ponte Vedra High School, May 3 – 4. Safe Sitter Class A Safe Sitter class will be held at Baptist South for students, ages 11 – 14, Saturday, April 26, 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. Students will learn how to be successful, safe babysitters. Training includes first aid, behavioral advice, choking rescue techniques for infants and children, injury prevention, injury management, safety for the sitter and babysitting as a business. There is a class fee of $45, which includes lunch and a training manual. To register, call 202.CARE (2273). Win a Bass Boat As part of the 25th Annual Wolfson Children’s Hospital Bass Tournament, $10 donations are being accepted for the opportunity to win a fully rigged 2014 Bullet 21SS Bass Boat with Boatmate Trailer and Mercury 225 Pro XS OptiMax Motor. The rig will be given away at a weigh-in drawing at the main tournament on May 17. There is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase and you do not need to be present to win.
