What is Health Coaching? Health coaching is a partnership with the patient. Throughout the partnership, the health coach will be a supportive mentor, motivating him or her to make positive health choices that will impact his or her overall wellbeing. The health coach will educate, support and guide to help the patient achieve personal health goals. The patient will be connected to appropriate resources, programs, and tools. Who are the health coaches? Baptist Health staff at the Y Healthy Living Centers, JCA Wellness Connexion, or Wolfson Wellness with a bachelor or master’s degree in health education and/or registered nurses with training in behavior change.
