FAIA BRAVA |BIRDWATCHING
João Cosme
With Spring arrive the songs and flights of birds. We invite you to spend a unique day learning to identify some common, along with various rare and emblematic, species of birds that all nest in the Faia Brava Reserve. From songbirds of the cork oak woodland to the Côa valley birds of prey, discover the first private protected area in Portugal. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a special treasure hunt – Who will be the first visitor to find a Griffon vulture nest? Birds are the reason why the Côa Valley is so important. Come and find out more about this sanctuary and participate in the ATN’s bird conservation efforts. Emblematic birds in Faia Brava
