Welcome to
What is Bible Word-Oh! you ask? It’s a fresh new member of the Bible word game family, joining older siblings like Bible crosswords and Bible word searches. If you love word games, Bible Word-Oh! will challenge and delight.
Your goal is to determine the five-letter mystery word in each puzzle based on 2–5 previous guesses provided. Note that every mystery word (or a form of it) can be found in the King James Version of the Bible, though that’s not necessarily true of each provided guess term. Each earlier guess shows letters that either appear or don’t appear in the mystery word, and whether the guessed letters are in the right locations. By considering those letters (and the provided Bible trivia clues and references if necessary), you’ll attempt to fill out the last line of Bible Word-Oh! to solve the puzzle. By the way, we’ve turned the clues and references upside down, to keep you from looking for help too quickly. Challenge yourself—you can do it!
On the next two pages, we’ll provide sample puzzles to show how Bible Word-Oh! is played. Note that a correct letter in the correct location is shown in white in a black box. A correct letter in the wrong location is shown in white in a gray box. Black letters in white boxes are not included in the answer. Keep track of which letters have already been used—especially vowels—to help determine the correct answer.
Answers are provided along with the samples on the following two pages. Answers to the actual puzzles begin on page 177.
Special thanks to our puzzle designer, Rebecca Germany.
