Sale Registration and Payment

All buyers numbers will only be issued with a valid ID and payment is due day of sale. DP Sales Management, LLC accepts Visa, Mastercard, check, e-check, or cash. All purchases are expected to be paid for day of sale unless arrangements have been made with sale management prior to. Cattle will not be transferred until paid in full. Purchases made through internet bidding follow the same terms. When we found K02 and her dam in the pens at this past Banners and Beyond Sale they quickly made the top of our list, and we were happy to bring them back to Mississippi. In her first trip to town, K02 brought home a banner being named Calf Champion at the Louisiana State Fair. Mason has started naming all of the heifers in the show barn and calls her Tina.We think this one has huge potential as a senior yearling. Elegant is the best word we can think of to describe her. K02 is sleek in her design through her front third and so correct in her build. Her dam is quickly making the case to make a trip to the donor pen as well. As much as we would love to keep her in our replacement pen, she’s a half sib to our main herdsire Elmer T, so we offer her with confidence that she will do great things for her next owner.

County O worked really well with the D26 cow which is a daughter of the legendary B80. You don’t have to look back far to find the B80 cow which is the grand dam of Broker. Look at the genetics and the rest of the pedigree. K3 is ready to go show and is gentle to work with even for the youngest show person. • Salley Simmental Farm

Thelma has been a favorite since birth and especially at weaning time. This female expresses the depth, volume and rib to be able to be an easy keeper and rely on the forage here in the south. Yes, she will be a nice addition however she has been to several shows and been in the purple and behind the backdrop. K02 is out of a W/C Paleface cow we purchased from Woodlawn. This heifer has been shown three times and at the recent Newton Breeding show was Grand Champion.

We love showing at the Dixie National so we decided to bring a female out of a former champion. The female we selected is one with a promising future. Her dam, S B C Eclipse 794H was the Champion Percentage Female at the 2022 Dixie National. This Uno Mas daughter is complete, well-balanced, and sound. This young Elmer T daughter has been a favorite around our house for a while. Mason calls her Maddie, and she really should’ve made the show string. She is functional and stout with enough look and presence to make you ask “what’s that one”. Her dam is a favorite of ours that resulted from an embryo purchase from Windy Ridge Simmentals, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how that Executive Order x Jewel raised her first calf. If you’ve been following the Simmental breed recently, you’ve surely noticed a resurgence of chrome. And why not draw a little attention to yourself when you can back it up with a solid pedigree and beautiful phenotype? Here’s a March purebred that can. By pedigree, she’s a daughter of the Triple Crown winning Primary Candidate and descends from Bill Couch’s legendary Juanada cow family on her dam’s side. Study her phenotype, and you’ll see she’s much more than the extra white. Regardless of your color preferences, I think we can all agree that good cattle are good cattle. Don’t hesitate to add some chrome. •

A single rose says more than a dozen. Of all the Primary Candidate calves we’ve had, this April purebred is the first and only to share her name with the iconic flower – and we think she speaks for herself. She’ll catch your eye with a splash of color and keep you looking as she continues to bloom. Her dam is a Fat Butt daughter and is definitive proof of his ability to produce profitable, durable momma cows with a seriously good look. She’s the youngest of our three heifers in the offering, but her future is certainly bright. You can’t go wrong with a rose. •

This is our first trip to Dixie and we wanted to bring a good one. K33 is so loose structured in her spine, all while having that swan like front end that we all crave in the ring. If you aren’t buying in yet, I suggest you check out her donor dam for reference. This Broker cow is a beast of a female and I have absolutely no doubt this Lover Boy will follow in her tracks.

I feel it is easy to see the production of the Penny donor. Look at her Lover Boy heifer above and especially on sale day. The Broker donor is awesome and her production record is good and all the progeny speak for themselves. I hope to bring some down for next year’s sale. Penny is just like the picture. Sam progeny is definitely making its mark and will be around a long time. We are very proud of this female and hate to let go; however we wanted to bring an exciting lot to the sale. There’s so much we could say about this donor and the potential of this mating. Better known around the barn as Starshine, and Mason’s first show heifer. She was his pick from Tyler Diffey’s online sale, and at the time we had no idea how much genetic power she was packing. The Copacetic x B79 (Dido) cross has been lights out in the show ring and now in production with banners from Kansas City, OKC, and Supreme Champion Female at the GA National Livestock Show. Starshine is a full sib in blood to those impressive females. We could not have asked for a better partner for Mason’s first show heifer as her patience is legendary, but more importantly she has matured into a beautiful productive cow. We snagged her picture just before she calved last Christmas, and she’s taken the transition from show barn life to cow life in stride. If you like added fertility, she and this cow family are loaded. Starshine has always been praised for her good looks and cow power, and we decided it was time to share the wealth, and let Mason build up his college fund. We had to do some convincing to convince him to let some potential Starshine babies go, but thankfully we have a few on the way in March. Once we got our hands on some Remedy semen we knew it was a no brainer to make this mating. Remedy semen and progeny have been in high demand, and it’s easy to see why.
