Haines Hunter 560 Offshore – Hard-core Class in Glass
Haines Hunter’s 560 Offshore has been developed over a two year intensive research and development program; and again they’ve yielded another exceptional result.
As you would expect from any Haines Hunter the boat speaks volume for its size with an overall length of 5.9m and 2.4m beam. The boat has Haines Hunter’s unique “SSM System” utilising a fully glassed stringer system, foam filled hull and 7 year warranty, the Haines Hunter 560 Offshore is also built to meet Australian Standard 1799. “This ‘melting pot’ of ideas and experience has produced a statement in the boating industry” – John Willis Trailerboat Magazine. This makes it one of the safest and most innovative boats in its class. At a glance from the outside, the boat has the highest quality finish with its high gloss superior UV resistant gelcoat, 32mm stainless steel bow rails as standard and a very cleverly engineered heavy duty bow sprit with a stainless steel easy guide rope housing. The transom is well thought out with beautiful clean lines and plenty of space so mounting accessories like burley buckets, boarding platforms, transducers or tuna tubes is a simple task.
The Haines Hunter 560 Offshore comes standard with two huge rear quarter storage tanks with drains; either can be plumbed as a live well or used as an esky to keep your drinks cool. The new side panel mouldings and rear mouldings have now made this boat the best 5.6m to 6.0m boat on the market today. Step up to the helm and you can see the 560 Offshore has been designed to take some of today’s largest electronics displays to assist the serious off-shore angler, whether you are a Southern angler chasing those mighty Southern Blue fin Tuna or a northern angler endeavouring to hook that Marlin of a lifetime. Standing at the helm station you have perfect panoramic vision and control over the vessel. The cabin is uncluttered with ample side pocket and under bunk storage.
The “Performance Deadrise Vee (PDV)” is Haines Hunter’s trade mark hull design, and once you ride in this boat you will automatically feel the difference compared to other boats of the same size. Haines Hunter has had a reputation for superb finishes, the highest quality fittings and the best performing boats for over 50 years and the 560 Offshore is no exception. The boat has a solid feel and an exceptionally soft ride which is to be expected from a Haines Hunter, the extra wide beam makes it very stable at rest. The boat is rated to 150hp and has a standard 200lt long range fuel tank to get you home on those long trips out to sea. Step inside the cockpit and it has the feel of a much larger boat, with seating arrangements for up to 6 people. The fully insulated underfloor storage compartment is enormous! Boats & More a family owned business operated by Simon & Kate Ryan and Robin Knaggs stems from a strong passion of boats, fishing & watersports. Simon and Robin have always dreamed of owning a boat business and are very pleased to see the huge growth the business has achieved in just 2 years. 2012 Melbourne Boat Show Draws great results The 2012 Melbourne Boat Show has yielded great results for the Haines Hunter team and Port Phillip Boating Centre. With over 400sqm of stand, 14 Haines Hunters ranging from 4m up to 8.2, 10 staff and the newly awarded title of 2012 Marine Manufacturer of Vessels in hand the results have been phenomenal. An increase in crowd numbers kept the team busy all weekend, including the Haines Hunter Insurance Marlins which were a big success, selling out mid Sunday afternoon. Again a big congratulations to the team for such an awesome effort, here’s to next year!
