Letter From the GM Dear John: First and foremost, I want to thank you for your loyal support of the Carolina Hurricanes. It has obviously been a very busy offseason for our franchise, with a new president, new general manager, new assistant general managers and new coaching staff. All of us are proud to be a part of this organization and to call North Carolina home. We are all also well aware that the Hurricanes have not lived up to our season ticket holders’ expectations in recent seasons, and we are dedicated to building a hockey club that you can consistently take pride in. Earlier this summer, we conducted an extensive search to fill our organization’s most important job opening – head coach. One candidate stood out above the rest during that process, and in June we introduced that man, Bill Peters, as our new head coach. Bill has been a part of successful organizations everywhere he has gone, from guiding the Spokane Chiefs to a Memorial Cup championship to developing players into Stanley Cup champions in Chicago’s system to working with Mike Babcock in Detroit. He is intelligent, energetic, experienced and organized, and we are lucky to have him here in Raleigh. One thing Bill has repeated to us both during his interviews and since his introduction is that he believes in our current core of players and feels that the Hurricanes are capable of producing much more offensively. He understands that our starts to games and our power play were weak points last season, and he has concrete ideas to improve both. Most of all, he knows how important it is for a team to defend its home ice and is focused on helping the Hurricanes improve our home record. We are excited for the start of training camp, and to see what the 2014-15 season has in store. Thank you for joining us as we begin this new era of Carolina Hurricanes hockey. We intend to make you proud.

Hurricanes Heroes Ticket Program Be a hero! The Hurricanes Heroes Ticket Program allows individual and corporate Season Ticket Holders to donate tickets to local non-profit organizations that focus on the health or education needs of the underserved children and adults in our community. Ticket donations for future games are considered tax-deductible, and donors will receive a tax receipt with every eligible donation made to the Hurricanes Heroes Ticket Program. Tickets obtained through the Ticket Exchange Program or the Ticket Voucher Program are gladly accepted; however, these donations are not eligible for tax receipts.

Ticket Exchange Program As a Season Ticket Holder (STH), you can take advantage of the Ticket Exchange Program to ensure you never throw away any of the tickets from your plan. Unused plan tickets from past games or tickets for games you know you will not be able to attend in the future can be exchanged at the PNC Arena Box Office for tickets of equal or lesser value to the predetermined exchange games listed below. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with the complete exchange program details outlined here before attempting to make an exchange.

Pregame Exchanges (Tickets to Games Not Yet Played) If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to attend any one of the games in your plan, simply return your tickets to the PNC Arena Box Office and exchange them for your choice of available exchange games. Ticket exchanges done in advance of the originally scheduled game date can be exchanged for any of the designated exchange games. Please remember that no pregame ticket exchanges will be filled on the same day as a scheduled Hurricanes home game within four hours of faceoff. (Example: For a 7 PM. faceoff, no exchanges will be processed after 3 PM) For your convenience, representatives at the Season Ticket Kiosk at section 113 can also assist you with your pregame exchanges on game nights from the time doors open through the end of the 2nd intermission and exchanges can also be made by mail using the same directions associated with the Ticket Voucher Program included in this book.
