I motivi scelti, icone della decorazione, sono il damasco e il pizzo. Entrambi i motivi, proposti in scala amplificata e molto contrastati nella scelta dei legni, bianchi e neri, sono sempre giocati con un accenno di colori o d’oro. La neutralità di questi elementi, pur ricchi di personalità, si sposa con diversi stili d’arredamento. I volumi sono classici nei tavoli, più importanti le proporzioni delle specchiere, per dare alle linee un gusto sofisticato e moderno, prezioso come un gioiello.

Forte personalità creativa, Andrea Dall’Olio, dopo aver collaborato con alcuni tra i più importanti bureaux de style a Parigi, apre nel 1995 il proprio studio a Milano. In pochi anni ottiene un consolidato successo nell’ambito del textile and fashion design. Creatore di disegni per tessuto acquistati da una clientela internazionale, direttore artistico di aziende produttrici di filati e tessuti di moda e arredamento e di prato expo (fashion textile), creatore di collezioni tessili di biancheria per la casa, interior designer, consulente della fiera I-Texstyle Show di New York (trends forecast and trends conferencies), Andrea Dall’Olio edita due volte l’anno nove quaderni di tendenza dedicati ai colori, ai filati, alla moda, ai tessuti e al design, confermando così una professionalità che lo porta a confrontarsi e ad affinare competenze per esprimere lo spirito del tempo che vive e per anticipare le mode che verranno. 8

TARSÌE (INLAYS) design: Andrea Dall’Olio

The collection is inspired by seventeenth century inlays, revisited with a contemporary touch. The chosen motifs, icons of decoration, are damask and lace. Both motifs, rendered on an enlarged scale and strongly contrasted through the choice of black and white wood, interplay with hints of colour or gold which match almost anything. Although rich in character, the neutrality of these elements perfectly combines with different furnishing styles. Tables are traditional in size, while mirrors are grander, giving the line a sophisticated modern taste, as precious as a jewel.

Andrea Dall’Olio has a highly creative character. After having collaborated with some of the most important bureaux de style in Paris, he opened his own studio in Milan in 1995. In a few years he achieved consolidated success in the field of textile and fashion design. Andrea Dall’Olio is many things: creator of designs for fabrics purchased by an international clientele, artistic director for companies which produce fashion yarn and fabrics, furnishings and at Prato Expo (fashion textiles), creator of household linen collections, interior designer, consultant at the I-Texstyle Show in New York (trend forecast and trend conference) and editor of nine twice-yearly trend books dedicated to colour, yarn, fashion, fabric and design. These are confirmations of the professionalism which helps him to develop his talent and refine his ability to express the spirit of current times and to anticipate fashions which are yet to materialise.

Источником вдохновения для коллекции послужили инкрустации семнадцатого века, воплощенные в современном ключе. Мотивы, выбранные в качестве декоративных образов – камчатная ткань и кружево. Оба мотива, предлагаемые в крупном масштабе в контрасте с деревом, белым и черным, обыгваны с легкой цветной или золотой ноткой. Нейтральность этих элементов, несмотря на их оригинальность, сочетается с различными стилями меблировки. Размеры столов соответствуют классическим канонам, пропорции столиков с зеркалами несколько утрированы, чтобы придать очертаниям предмета мебели изысканность и современность, уподобляя его ювелирному изделию.

Яркая творческая личность, Андреа Далль’Олио, сотрудничал с некоторыми наиболее крупными дизайнерскими фирмами Парижа, а затем в 1995 году открыл свою фирму в Милане.
