This proposed mix-use development in Camden transforms two existing warehouse buildings by reconfiguring the internal space and adding dramatic ‘sky box’ extensions to each building. A triangular 12-storey residential tower replaces the petrol station currently located on the site. The existing underused green space to the south will to be transformed into a more inviting and better connected public open space.

WORK CONTENT: As Chief Designer. In charge of scheme design, design development, construction drawing. Manging of budget, construction schedule and documetns for public work tender. New construction scheme mainly including structural glazing construction for the roof of the artificial trees and Yi-Lan city train station plaza.
WORK CONTENT: As Arshitectural Assistant I w a s a s s i g n e d t o d eve l o p construction details and make construction drawing. In the meanwhile, I also needed to submit the planning application and do the presentation for clients.
It is an urban-scale project, but most issues about city are settled before I undertook the project. The main concern is the detailing of the glazing roof. How to install the complicated structural glass, how to design the drainge for the roof and how to maintain the glass in the future etc. are practical issues which would affect the budget and design greatly.
