For all those that don't know, the walking dead are flesh-eating zombies that can only be killed by destroying what's left of their primitive brains. Different evolutions of zombies have emerged from those that are slow and lethargic from "Night of the Living Dead" one of the original films; to fast and aggressive from "28 Days Later" a film where people are infected by a genetically engineered virus that produces uncontrollable rage. We will continue our scenario with the original flesh and brain eating zombies to give everyone a realistic chance of survival. Setting the stage, imagine a world where the Government trying to control the population has gone to far producing Genetically Modified (GMO) Foods and putting poisonous fluoride and lithium in the water supply. Unknown to scientist and medical professionals three generations prior; the combination has produced a deadly chemical imbalance within the brain causing people who should be legally dead re-animate and come back to life. The above scenario is hypothetical but highlights a point many people don't think about until it's to late. When disaster happens are you prepared physically for the journey. Darwin's theory "The survival of the fittest" starts to shine clear as people start to drop by the dozen as hard times begin to take its toll. The healthier and more physically fit you are will put you on top of the food chain. Sickly, weak, and down trodden adults who have to depend on someone else will soon be casualties or cause there help to become casualties. I believe good physical fitness and proper chemical free nutrition provides the best opportunity to survive any Zombie invasion or disaster situation. Do these top 5 things to gain everyday piece and start your journey to optimal physical and mental health. 1. Drink clean purified water. Your body is mostly water and the chemicals that are being added by city municipalities is having an effect on your health and your children's health slowly over time. I recommend a gentle heavy metals detox supplement that you can use on a daily basis to help purge your system of unwanted substances. Make sure you have a quality in home reverse osmosis water filtration system that removes all negative substances including fluoride. 2. Eat healthy organic prepared foods. Don't be fooled by cheaper prices and the advertising of taste over nutritional value. Plant a victory garden using natural compost without chemical fertilizer and use the heirloom varieties of vegetable seeds. The commercial growing industry has used methods that has stripped the land of nutrients causing the vegetables grown today to have 30% less nutritional value. 3. Lose the irrational Fears of Life. Start by leaving the past in the past. Reliving past scenarios of


what could have been is a dangerous game that keeps people in a constant state of stagnation. Take your lessons learned and move on to bigger and better things. No one can tell you how to view yourself and the world around you. If you are strong within your strength will show on the outside and in all things that you set out to do. 4. Find a functional physical fitness program and stick with it. High intense routines over a shorter period of time have proven to produce the best results. Why; because we as members of the industrialized 1st world countries, in most cases, are living in abundance which as a tendency to lead to over indulgence. Food, shelter, and medical care are readily available to at least 60% - 70% of the population. Americans would be in a lot better shape if they had to go out in the wild and hunt for food and farm for vegetables. The technological advances in our lifetime have been both a positive and a negative. It is up to you to choose the positives and minimize the negatives. Figuring out the "WHY" is your first step. Your second step is never forgetting what your why is every time you wake up and look at yourself in the mirror. So the question remains, "What is Your WHY"!
