Due to high footfall and a reflection of shortage of spaces inside the market people spill over in the edges of the street, which are marked in the diagram.
Further, when we traced the activities along the outlines of street edges in phase 1,we arrive at an understanding of the movement Patterns .As an impact of temporal activity, lots of people scatter around the road edges.
It shows the clear need for intervention, as there is function, and the need for a facilitator. Hence the proposal can be given in this part of the premise.Wherein, lots of movement and pauses are happening beneath the bridge and along street edges.
Vision
Reimagining urban voids to integrate informal activities and redefine the street character.
programme
•
Formalise the vendors under the bridge
•
small gathering spaces for people
•
Provide parking in the edges of the street
•
Make the edges of the street pedestrian friendly
•
Designated food stall across the stretch

Zoning
The concept is developed by segregating the spaces to the dedicated programs. where we pedestrianize both ed segregate the programs into various parts which take up function as the site demands. So the primary functions wo happening, we thought of restricting the entry for providing a few entries where.it demarcates the entry into space .

It also serves as a model to be adapted for flyover under spaces in Indian cities, which can be addressed by giving functional and programmatic urban design roles.
