Urbanism Academic
This is a large-scale intervention: urban design, located in Oporto, Portugal. Analyzing the site, is relevant the presence of a highway and the discrepancy of building scales between the two sides of the road. West is set by large scale buildings, like Drag達o Stadium and Dolce Vita shopping, whereas west is set by small scale residential buildings. The goal of this intervention is to make a brigde between both places. The project starts by developing an organic horizontal body, parallel to the highway, in order to create a sound and visual barrier, protecting the inside of the

the block. The next step aims the creation of skyscrapers willing along the last body, in order to define exceptional moments, such as rotation. These buildings also allow to create a dialogue between the new construction and the pre-existing one, as intended. Finally, new small scale habitation volums grab the preexisting buildings, then stretching through the intervention field. When it comes to the program, the horizontal body has equipments, such as a
connection to the subway, located nearby, a bus station, and a huge range of shops. Offices are located in the skyscrapers, and the housing is inside the smaller scale volume.

Art Storehouse Academic
As continuation of the previous exercise, a project to develop a building to store and exhibit art pieces was requested. The building is located North of the intervention area, to take advantage in terms of road, railway and pedestrian communications. Design building is based on a basic rectangular volum, then sliced and twisted, resulting in two distinct bodies: public and private, each one with particular specifications. give to visitor a glimpse of the interior space. From here, vertical communications, made by ramps, stairs and elevators, distribute through the three levels, taking the pedestrian to the exhibition room, library, auditorium, administrative offices, artists rooms and the bar. The organization of the private zone is made from an orthogonal grid,to optimize the space. As program, there is a large s t o ra g e a r e a , m a d e w i t h containers, distributed vertically and horizontally, air-conditioned rooms for special artworks, and rooms for control, record, repair art pieces.

Investigation Center Academic
This project aims an analysis of Braganรงa region, in Portugal, and collect data in order to study an intervention that could help developing enonomic and culturally the region. In the first place, the beauty of the place is noteworthy, including natural landscape and traditional housing. On the other hand, the lack of people, the abandonment of the village heritage and degradation, are the main concerns. So, one of the solutions to the region's development would include the creation of an "anchor equipment" as part of a xxxxxxxxxx
Investigation Center localization
network of villages, in order to attract and retain people on the spot. Thus the Investigation Center was born. This equipment is intended as a local, national and international reference, attracting people from all places. The nearby villages would support this equipment, being used as housing, leisure and services points. The building itself has a long shape, and is vertically divided in two independent volumes - one below the surface, and another above it. The first volume hosts secondary functions, such as parking, and a temporary
exhibitions room. The volume above, suspended with several pillars, houses the main functions . This volume is worked according to a three-body system, built by modules, which are home to the reception, administration, bar, classrooms and investigation rooms. In the joins are located the exception spaces, such as the library and the auditorium.

This is one of my first works after I The inside is caracterizaded by have finished my internship. The open spaces and a light image. aim of this project is the inside remodelation of an 1940's small house. The main situation concerns the preservation of the house’s image, adding new contemporany elements in order to tige to this habitation confort, funcionality and secutity. Two new volums were welded to the old construction, in order to give it more inside space. The first one at the floor level. The second at level one, projected in space.
