Fitzgerald’s Fish Boil

This trip to Genoa City, Wisconsin, includes a stop at Anderson’s Candy Store in Richmond, Illinois, a 100+-year-old business named one of the best candy makers in the U.S. Then it’s on to Fitzgerald’s for their famed all-you-care-to-eat fish boil dinner. The menu also includes honey barbecue chicken, award-winning coleslaw, fresh rye bread, sweet red potatoes, and onions that are boiled in the pots with the fish. Dessert is a frosted apple square. Trip fee includes transportation, soft drinks, and dinner.

Seymour must acquire fresh blood for his carnivorous plant—and save the love of his life from her evil dentist boyfriend. Trip fee includes transportation, show ticket, and lunch.

Apple Picking at County Line Orchard

Kick off the fall season by picking your own apples at County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana, featuring dozens of apple varieties and a gift shop. Apples are priced according to variety and are sold per pound. Lunch will be at Schoops. Lunch and apple purchase is on your own. Trip includes transportation and admission to orchard.

Nashville Connection at Starved Rock

Country music at its finest! Dave and Daphne, a Nashville duo perform a high-energy show with classic country music roots. Dave was Barbara Mandrell’s lead guitarist for a decade. Daphne was Southern Gospel Music’s Female Vocalist of the Year, and performed with the Bill Gaither Southern Gospel Music Conventions. She’s best described as a cross between Shania Twain and Patsy Cline. Trip fee includes lunch, show, and transportation.

Lunch & Show at White Fence Farm

Enjoy great food and a musical performance at White Fence Farm. Come for the famous chicken and stay for the incredible vocals of Denny Diamond. Lunch will be at 11:30 a.m., then Denny will perform beloved Neil Diamond tunes, and share the stories behind those famous songs. Trips includes transportation, lunch, and show.

Elvis Tribute at Starved Rock

Michael St. Angel pays tribute to “The King of Rock and Roll” performing the hits that made Elvis famous such as “Jailhouse Rock,” “Hound Dog,” and “Love Me Tender.” Michael will also feature many of the gospel hits that started Elvis’s career. Keep the spirit of Rockin’ and Rollin’ alive! Trip includes lunch, show, and transportation.

Crooner Christmas at Starved Rock

Travel to Starved Rock Lodge and hear Christmas songs from classic crooners like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Bing Crosby, and Nat King Cole. Acclaimed, classy, fun, and exciting Chicago pop-jazz concert and recording artist Peter Oprisko has been performing at Starved Rock Lodge for many years, and he always puts on an amazing show. Trip includes lunch, show, and transportation.

Registration deadline: Nov. 20

Trips will depart from the Eastside Community Center parking lot. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
